Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Killing a people
By Dr. Levon R. Yuille
As I reflect upon the journey of black Americans, it is obvious that we as a people have a history that is filled with many trials, tribulations, and defeats. But that is not the entire story of the black man. We have also experienced in our history times of great progress, victories, and success. And when it comes to black Americans here in the United States of America, all of the previously stated experiences are most certainly part of our journey in this nation, where black people have experienced the worst and best of this great nation. Cecile Richards, head of notorious abortion provider, Planned Parenthood celebrates President Richard Nixon who supported aborting black babies, calling them "little black bastards." Outraged black leaders launched a video that includes statements made by Richards exposing the racial impetus of Richard Nixon's and Planned Parenthood's mission. "For years Planned Parenthood has denied its founder's Negro Project was aimed at controlling the black birth rate. On November 7, 2012 Cecile Richards finally took the shroud off their secret. In light of this revelation, we call on the Congress to defund Planned Parenthood, one of America's last bastions of racism," said Catherine Davis.
Here is my question to you, women, pro-life or pro-abortion. What if every health care facility in America ceased to exist and only Planned Parenthood remained? What if the fight for Planned Parenthood's funding overshadowed the funding for every other healthcare organization in the United States and suddenly there were no others? What if the only health care available to us was the "health care" Planned Parenthood provides? If every Planned Parenthood in America ceased to exist, every single service they provide could be attained elsewhere and almost everywhere except abortion. Abortion would still be available in select locations, and even in many hospitals. If Planned Parenthood ceased to exist, all $542 million dollars of the governmental funding they received last year could be given to any other facility that struggles to serve all who need them. The only unique service Planned Parenthood offers over any medical facility is abortion on demand without question or apology.
National Review Online Dr. Anne Nolte, a family physician, takes time today from her busy patient schedule at the National Gianna Center for Women's Health and Fertility she directs in Manhattan to protest Governor Andrew Cuomo's Reproductive Health Act. Despite the fact that women have "almost unlimited access to abortion, as evidenced by abortion rates which are nearly double the national average," as Nolte noted in a letter to an Empire State newspaper this week, the governor's agenda includes expanding access to abortion in New York State, including by allowing non-physicians to perform abortions.
