Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Healthcare "Reform"

More about Orange County Group's Parent

On August 2, pro-abortion congresswoman Loretta Sanchez visited St. Callistus Church in Garden Grove.The event was billed as a Prayer Vigil for Healthcare. The Orange County Congregation Community Organization, which sponsored Sanchez, is an affiliate of the PICO (People Improving Communities) national network. The network was founded in 1972 by Jesuit priest Fr. John Baumann. Since they are meeting in a Catholic church, it is worthwhile to explore PICO and its Orange County affiliate's position on healthcare.

PICO, in conjunction with the Sojourners, has provided a document it calls the "Health Care Tool Kit: A Guide to the Health-Care Reform Debate."
