ELKTON, Md., Oct. 19 /Christian Newswire/ -- When it comes to the medical history of abortionist Stephen Chase Brigham, his reads like a "chop shop" of Halloween horrors. Recently his clandestine abortion clinic in Elkton, Maryland was raided by police and the bodies of 35 pre-born babies were discovered, victims of illegal late-term abortions. Brigham has since been suspended in New Jersey and ordered to stop operating illegally in Maryland, nevertheless, Brigham continues to this day to operate a string of four clinics in the state.
In memory of Brigham's victims -- viable babies who were just weeks from delivery -- pro-life groups will gather for a press conference, followed by a memorial mass on behalf of the tiny victims. Who: Pro-life leaders from numerous local and national groups, including Living Hope for Life, Defend Life, and Operation Rescue, among others. What: Press conference to call on Maryland State Attorney Christopher J. Eastridge to file criminal murder charges, and felony charges of practicing medicine without a license against Brigham and his associates, as well as all other charges that are applicable as their tangled web of criminal activity is investigated. When: Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. Where: In front of the States Attorney Christopher J. Eastridge's office at 129 E. Main Street in Elkton, Maryland. In conjunction with this, a mass of remembrance for the unborn will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7 p.m.Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
