It's always a great time to focus on family, especially now during the Christmas season.

If we are to understand our role in this world, in this family of God, we must first understand our role in our own families. It is that understanding of love—and the exercising of that love—that will lead us to a deeper understanding of God’s love.
The common good cannot be realized if marriage and family are not promoted and protected from sin and vice, especially in the area of love and life.
If a child has been brought up with little regard for rules in general, he will likely not want to follow God’s or the Church’s rules. He will see these rules as pointless, too restrictive, or arbitrary.
This Christmas, we must take time to go apart from the crowd, from the parties, and presents, and food and celebrations, to spend time in quiet prayer. Christ is waiting for us. Let us rest in His peace.
Whereas the overpopulation doomsayers view people as a liability, even from a purely practical perspective people are also (and predominantly) an asset.
