Supreme Knight Carl Anderson to Deliver Keynote at Project Rachel 25th Anniversary Dinner Tonight (Friday, Sept 18)

Event to be held at St. Margaret Mary Church in Milwaukee Friday, Sept. 18

MILWAUKEE, WI, Sept. 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- Supreme Knight Carl Anderson of the Knights of Columbus will address the celebratory gathering for the twenty-fifth anniversary of Project Rachel at St. Margaret Mary Church in Milwaukee following a 6 p.m. Mass.

The Church is located at the corner of 92nd and Capital Drive. Mr. Anderson's speech will take place at a dinner in the Church hall immediately following the Mass, which will be celebrated by Bishop William Callahan.

Founded in 1984, Project Rachel and the National Office of Post Abortion Reconciliation and Healing are the Catholic Church's outreach to parents affected by abortion.

The Knights of Columbus has worked closely with Project Rachel for several years, collaborating on conferences held in the United States and Europe.

Carl Anderson's speech will touch on the importance of post-abortion healing ministry, and the shifting of American public opinion in favor of defense of life in recent polls.

In his speech, Anderson will note that: "In an often shrill debate over abortion, the work of Project Rachel is vital. It brings healing to those survivors of abortion that are so often ignored: the parents of the aborted child."

Media are welcome to attend.
