Patient Charts at Gosnell Abortion Clinic Were Covered in BloodA former staff member at the Kermit Gosnell abortion clinic testified today during his murder trial about the horrific conditions she saw at the abortion facility.
Latosha Lewis, who worked a “medical assistant” despite a lack of former medical training, worked for eight years at the Gosnell abortion center and she testified that patients were frequently given too much medication and that record-keeping was substandard. She handled the chart related to Karnamaya Mongar, the woman Gosnell killed in an abortion, and testified that no weight was on her chart because the scale had broken one month prior to her abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/patient-charts-at-gosnell-abortion-clinic-were-covered-in-blood/
Obama Refuses to Comment on Gosnell Murder Trial in New InterviewIn a new interview with the Today show on NBC, President Barack Obama refused to comment on the ongoing murder trial of abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell.
Obama’s own refusal to weigh in on the case comes after his White House spokesman refused to comment on or condemn the “beheadings” Gosnell did and oversaw at his abortion clinic. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/obama-refuses-to-comment-on-gosnell-murder-trial-in-new-interview/
Planned Parenthood Connected to Women Gosnell Injured in AbortionsIn 1972, International Planned Parenthood Federation was one of two groups partnering with the country of Bangladesh to bring Dr. Harvey Karman (pictured right) and a small team of “abortion experts,” which included two IPPF doctors, to the newly formed country to commit abortions and train native doctors and paramedics how to commit them.
harvey-karmanAbortion was Karman’s “consuming passion,” according to Salon, which acknowledged Karman wasn’t really any sort of doctor whatsoever but had simply “added a Ph.D. to his name, though his degree came from a dubious Swiss diploma mill.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/planned-parenthood-connected-to-women-gosnell-injured-in-abortions/
Planned Parenthood Faces Investigation After Botching Multiple AbortionsDelaware state officials announced today they have launched an investigation of a Planned Parenthood abortion business in Delaware that was closed over multiple botched abortions at the clinic.

How Was Kermit Gosnell Allowed to Run His Abortion Biz for Decades? As the fifth week of the murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell continues, there has been a flurry of [much belated] media attention.
NRL News Today begins Section VI of the Grand Jury report which asks the question, “How Did This Go On So Long?” As nauseating as the previous sections were in describing the horrible murders of seven unborn babies and the death of a woman, the reader is outraged that “Pennsylvania’s Department of Health has deliberately chosen not to enforce laws that should afford patients at abortion clinics the same safeguards and assurances of quality health care as patients of other medical service providers.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/how-was-kermit-gosnell-allowed-to-run-his-abortion-biz-for-decades/
New York Times Pulls Reporter From Daily Coverage of Gosnell Murder TrialNo sooner did the New York Times send a reporter to cover the murder trial of embattled abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell did the Gray Lady pull the reporter from daily coverage. Instead, the venerable newspaper will cover only “highlights” of the trail, which has weeks left to go.
Local reporter JD Mullane of the Bucks County Courier Times, sent a tweet late Wednesday afternoon indicating the Times was pulling its reporter. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/new-york-times-pulls-reporter-from-covering-gosnell-murder-trial/

Professors Refer to Pro-Life Students as “Those Who Supported Lynching”Pro-abortion professors were out of control this week at University at Buffalo, equating pro-life students to lynch mobs and getting arrested for disorderly conduct at a pro-life display. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/professors-refer-to-pro-life-students-as-those-who-supported-lynching/

Washington Post Admits Gosnell Blackout, But Denies Liberal BiasMonday’s Style section of the Washington Post was topped by a surprising story: “An abortion provider is on trial: Where’s the media coverage?” Sadly, what followed was a denial that there’s any evidence of liberal bias, and a parade of utterly unconvincing evasions, excuses, and accusations against conservative media. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/washington-post-admits-gosnell-blackout-but-denies-liberal-bias/
Canada: MP Won’t Appeal Denial of Vote to Condemn Sex-Selection AbortionA Canadian MP will not appeal a decision preventing members of the Canadian Parliament from voting on a resolution to condemn the practice of sex-selection abortions. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/17/canada-mp-wont-appeal-denial-of-vote-to-condemn-sex-selection-abortion/

Washington Activists Fail to Force Maternity Insurance to Cover AbortionTwice in the last 24 hours, abortion industry advocates in the State Senate have tried to force a vote on the Abortion Insurance Mandate bill (EHB 1044) which would require every health insurance policy sold in Washington to cover abortion and deny consumers choice in insurance products.
