Lila Rose, Live Action's president, gave a powerful speech at the Values Voters Summit this past Saturday! "There's a fire burning in this nation," she said, and the applause in the room made it clear that she's speaking the truth. That's always been one of the great things about the pro-life movement: "We have the truth on our side," as Lila put it, "and we have God on our side."
"As all these things loom in this darkness," Lila said, "how much more does even one light shine? And that's our message: our light is going to shine even more in this dark time, and we will not be silenced." Amen!

Dr. Carson’s been opining about politics ever since, including abortion. Most recently, he said the following during a Friday speech at the annual Values Voter Summit: Read more...
Mom of 9: 'I have been given this gift and ability to have babies'
These days, fertility seems to be more a burden to couples than a blessing. Large families were once a staple of the world, but lately they’ve become something of a spectacle – a source of entertainment on reality television.
These days, once a couple has had baby number three, friends and strangers alike often raise an eyebrow wondering if the pair has ever heard of birth control. But for families like the Derricos, the birth of each of their nine children has been a reason to rejoice. Read more...
California Catholic university eliminates abortion coverage, faculty cry foul
While abortion is expanding in California, it seems that Catholics are taking their stand. Perched in the middle of the Obamacare controversy over abortion, employer mandates and conscience rights are Catholic-affiliated institutions, and Santa Clara University (SCU) is the center of focus as the university announced it would drop elective abortion coverage from employee health plans. While some argue this is a natural move for a Catholic-affiliated institution, many others are crying foul in the state that recently expanded abortion. Read more...
