40 DAYS FOR LIFE: DAY 20: Keep praying -- it's working!

image
Deacon John,
As we start another week ... how about some good news as a welcome break from the headlines?
Since this 40 Days for Life campaign started on September 28 ... we now have received reports of 264 babies whose moms chose life at the last minute -- that we know of!
image
People are praying -- and bringing a public witness of Christ's mercy -- at 367 locations in 23 countries.
Why not join them? Find the location nearest you and pray for an end to abortion.

The community was truly UNITED in Bellevue, Nebraska ... with 40 Days for Life leaders and volunteers as well as pregnancy center directors on hand from both sides of the Nebraska-Iowa border.

The abortion facility in Bellevue (it's near Omaha) is run by the notorious late-term abortionist Leroy Carhart.
The good news is that while Carhart, who is now in his mid-70s, and his fellow practitioners are aging quickly ... pro-lifers are getting younger!

This was clear at Nebraska's state rally, which included representatives from the local Students for Life chapter and a number of high school students.
Heather from Silent No More told the story of how her cousin was in the procedure room, trying to talk her out of her abortion. But in an effort to prevent Heather from changing her mind, the abortion staff kicked her cousin out.
What irony that such heavy-handed tactics are used in the name of defending a "right to choose"!

Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife because she was barren; and the Lord granted his prayer and Rebekah his wife conceived. The children struggled together within her, and she said, "If it is thus, why do I live?" So she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples, born of you, shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, the elder shall serve the younger."
-- Genesis 25:21-23
O, God, you formed us in our mother's womb and planned a unique and special life and purpose for each of us, and we do thank you. Grant that we may pray and work for an end to abortion, especially in these 40 days, so that no unborn baby you have made may fail to achieve your divine intention for him or her because of intentional abortion.
