A late-term abortion facility has quit providing abortions, citing...
...the presence outside!
As she prepared for this fall's 40 Days for Life campaign, Renée in Champaign, Illinois noticed that the local late-term abortion center no longer listed "abortion services" on its website. She also noticed the center's logo had changed.
Renée called the location and was informed that the facility no longer provides abortions!
"I was really emotional when I found this out," she said. "We certainly hoped that this would happen, but didn't think it would happen so soon."
What did happen?
Renée had the opportunity to speak with a staff member for the former abortion facility who told her that the decision to stop performing abortions was made due to "picketers"--specifically the 40 Days for Life presence there from 2017-18.
Renée summed up the victory perfectly: "Peaceful, public prayer and presence does work."
The Champaign campaign team has moved its vigil to Planned Parenthood--the city's last remaining abortion facility.

Bournemouth, England

As prayer warriors in Bournemouth launched their 40 Days for Life vigil, they were greeted by an abortion facility bin for disposing of "unwanted leaflets."
Presumably, those leaflets are materials handed out by 40 Days for Life pavement counselors, letting them know about abortion alternatives.
For a business that so frequently touts freedom of "choice," abortion providers aren't happy when vigil participants offer their customers a choice that isn't abortion. Whether it's unwanted leaflets or "unwanted" children, the abortion industry's response is the same: throw them away!

Dallas, Texas

I spoke in Dallas, where last campaign they saved 13 babies--including a set of twins!
Thank you to Dr. Tony Evans, who hosted the 40 Days for Life kickoff once again at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church. Susan, the Dallas leader, said they have more vigil hours filled than ever before. They host their vigil at the largest Planned Parenthood in North Texas.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
— Luke 1:30-33
Heavenly Father, you have made the womb of each woman a very special place. Help us to hold fast to the sanctity of this first home of humanity, remembering the wonderful mystery, that God inhabited the womb of a young woman and came forth as the savior and deliverer of the world.
