From 40 Days For Life: DAY 39: Abortion advocates unhinged

Abortion supporters are panicking...and they should be.
That's why we've seen more persecution than ever before this campaign.
Earlier this week, I visited Madison, Wisconsin for a prayer rally with former Planned Parenthood manager Sue Thayer; 40 Days for Life board chair Matt Britton; and campaign director Steve Karlen. Members of the International Socialist Organization spent more than two hours chanting slogans at the top of their lungs to try to silence the pro-life message.
Pro-abortion chants included, "We're younger; we're stronger. We will be here longer." But while 40 Days for Life volunteers prayed through the night--their presence has been unbroken since September 26--the socialists went home.
Their desperate pleas to "save" the abortion facility were revealing. Madison is one of the country's most abortion-friendly cities. The abortion industry shouldn't be in danger there...but it is!

The overwhelming majority of 40 Days for Life vigil shifts are calm...even peaceful. Lacking the gifts of the Holy Spirit, abortion supporters don't have the staying power to match an all-day, every day 40 Days for Life vigil hour for hour.
Instead, socialists, anarchists, satanists, and a host of other "ists" have made noise at larger campaign events, including several where our team members have spoken.
Fortunately, in each case, pro-lifers came away more resolved to stand up for abortion-vulnerable moms and babies than ever!

I was also greeted by socialists and anarchists during my visits to chilly Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, New York.
Though they attempted to disrupt my talks by beating on pots and pans and parroting the same tired, decades-old chants, vigil volunteers were not discouraged. And for good reason: a pubic presence outside an abortion facility--pro-life or pro-abortion--is a huge deterrent to Planned Parenthood clients.
In fact, Planned Parenthood in Rochester told the pro-abortion socialists--not the 40 Days for Life participants--to leave...and they refused! (It's okay to laugh.)

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Leading her 17th campaign in the Steel City, Nikki is as tough as...well...steel!
When I arrived to the downtown Planned Parenthood, a large group gathered to sing and pray on a busy street in the heart of the city. Planned Parenthood launched a “Pledge a Picketer” campaign in an effort to raise money. It hasn’t worked, but the effort is a compliment to Nikki's volunteers.
A greater compliment was paid when a teary-eyed woman approached Nikki to tell her that six years ago, the Pittsburgh 40 Days for Life team empowered her to choose life for her daughter. She became a Christian that same year.
Look at this mom's smile!

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Protesters also greeted 40 Days for Life board member Tibor Baksy during his visit to Winston-Salem. About 25 abortion advocates tried to disrupt his visit.
But the protesters were outnumbered. "We had about 35-40 volunteers including a 90-year-old who has been praying in front of abortion centers since 1982," Tibor said.
Furthermore, reporters and television news cameras were out. Coverage focused more on abortion proponents...but for the abortion industry, any publicity brings unwanted attention.
Mary, the local leader, told Tibor that protesters are rare. "They knew I would be attending," Tibor said.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
— 1 Peter 1:6-7
Dear Heavenly Father, we sing to You a new song, for You have done marvelous things. Forgive us when we allow circumstances to defeat us. You give power to the faint and You increase strength in those who have no might. We rest in You dear Lord, and ask You to empower us again for Your service as You work out Your plan for us and through us.
