40 Days For Life: DAY 37

image

Unborn babies are "parasites," and humanity is a "planetary cancer."
Those are the words of the notorious 81-year-old abortionist in Boulder, Colorado.
Praying at the Boulder 40 Days for Life campaign makes a huge impact on this well-known late-term abortion facility. Recently, students at the University of Colorado (who this facility targets) joined the local campaign leader at the vigil.
"I gave them buttons and wristbands," Susan said. "They gave me encouragement!"
It sounds like these students would be great candidates for the 4040 Scholarship!

The scholarship awards $4,040 to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student active in the pro-life movement. The winner and a parent will be flown to San Francisco to receive the scholarship on the stage at the West Coast Walk for Life in front of 70,000 pro-lifers!

Granite City, Illinois

College students in Granite City are also showing up to pray in front of a late-term abortion facility.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Newman Center students hit their knees in front of the inaccurately named "Hope Clinic for Women."

St. Louis, Missouri

Just across the Mississippi River, pro-life students joined the St. Louis vigil.
At least 80 ambulances have visited the St. Louis Planned Parenthood during the last decade.
A hearing over the troubled Planned Parenthood's failure to meet safety standards could close the facility and make Missouri America's first abortion-free state.

Las Cruces, New Mexico

The Las Cruces abortion facility closed years ago following a 40 Days for Life campaign...
...so local pro-lifers are organizing a vigil near the local college campus to pray for and reach out to university students considering leaving town for an abortion.
"A student approached two of our volunteers and thanked them for being there to represent life on NMSU campus," wrote Ann, the local leader. "He told them how his two siblings were saved from abortion by his mother agreeing to adopt them!"

I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
— Romans 12:1
God Almighty, You alone are worthy of our praise and worship. Having accepted Your Son’s sacrifice on my behalf, I in turn present my body to you as a living sacrifice. I pray that you would use me as your vessel to rescue others who are perishing.
For life,
