I was pleasantly surprised recently when my hometown newspaper printed my letter to the editor about the all-important Hyde Amendment, which bars federal taxpayer funding of abortion, except in rare circumstances. People for Life of Erie will sponsor their eighth annual Life Run 5K/10K & Fun Walk on Saturday, October 9. Registration is $15 for ages 7-15 and $25 for ages over 15. For more information, click here.
Cambria-Somerset Citizens Concerned for Human Life will host a Pro-Life Prayer Breakfast at New Germany Immaculate Conception Hall on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 9 am to 12 noon. The Keynote speaker this year will be Steve Deace, well-known conservative Talk Radio host and author. As an almost aborted baby, Steve has become a very strong supporter and defender of Pro-Life at every opportunity.
