Time to End the Unjust Institution of Abortion

By Fr. Gerald E. Murray:

"True patriotism is not blind to the failings of one’s country. ... Pro-life Americans are grateful for all the progress that has been made over the last 50 years to protect the right to life of our innocent unborn brothers and sisters. This progress is owing to the efforts of scores of citizens who correctly maintain that the Founders of our country did not form a union of states rooted firmly in principles of justice and freedom with the intention that one category of people, namely those residing in their mother’s wombs, could be legally killed."

Toby's World

By Jason Morgan:

"I have a cousin who was born with a severe mental handicap and has been institutionalized since infancy. At the end of June, my cousin—let’s call him Toby—turned fifty. I don’t think any physician who examined him expected him to live to ten let alone all these years. Every day of his life has been, in that sense, a miracle. ... But I was alarmed at the pressure I felt from the sonogram OBGYN to consider aborting my wanted child."

Pro-Life Extravagance

By Fr. David Poecking:

"Many prolifers are already engaged in heroic efforts to help mothers in distress. ...These are prolifers of extravagance par excellence. Close behind are those who provide effective encouragement to mothers considering abortion, supporting them through the process of arranging for adoption, or otherwise helping to secure the lives of their unborn children. ... The crucified Jesus invites all of us to follow him—extravagantly, heedlessly, even comically."

Supreme Court Rejects Challenge to FDA Abortion Drug Approval

By Madeline Fry Schultz:

"According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, medication abortions made up 63% of abortions last year. While six in 10 women who end their pregnancies do so with pills that are touted as a simple and safe 'solution,' these pills are not as safe as proponents would like women to believe."
