Life Chain Heads to More Than 1300 Cities Across America in Early October
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- More than 1,300 cities across the United States will see a consistent pro-life witness next month when the annual Life Chain comes to town. The event has grown in its message over the years recognizing a pro-life, pro-woman message and grown in size to involve hundreds of thousands of people. With most Life Chain events involving 200 or more people, as many as a quarter million people could take to the streets in the United States, and even Canada, with a pro-life message. The peaceful and prayerful event involves holding a pre-made sign with a simple message making it clear that Abortion Kills Children, or Abortion Hurts Women. Royce Dunn, the long-time director of the national Life Chain, says the October 5 event is a good way to not only reach out to the public and show a pro-life message to millions of Americans, but to awaken the Christian church. "The first duty of Life Chainers is to humbly receive the convicting ministry God has for us on October 5," he says. "Then, if we are receptive, God can witness through us to save lives and change hearts in each local community." Full story at LifeNews.com.
