Planned Parenthood tries to keep evidence secret in criminal case

With 107 criminal charges for late-term abortions nipping at its heels, attorneys for Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood, located in Overland Park, Kansas, have filed motions for protective orders to keep evidence away from the public eye.

The documents in question have already been heavily redacted to protect the privacy of the women involved, and some are posted on a public website, yet Planned Parenthood is asking for expensive, unnecessary accommodation to keep the evidence from the view of those attending the trial.

"This is nothing more than a continuation of Planned Parenthood's eight-year effort to cover-up - and ultimately destroy - the evidence against them. They are wrongly hiding behind the skirts of their patients' privacy rights in order to conceal their crimes," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "These documents have all been so censored that no one could ever guess a patient's identity, especially after eight years. Planned Parenthood's motions are really an underhanded attempt to subvert justice."

"If convicted, Planned Parenthood could face hefty fees and the loss of federal funding nationwide since groups that receive federal tax-dollars must be in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws," Newman said.

Congratulations to Troy Newman and Operation Rescue for eight years of persistence in pushing to bring Planned Parenthood to justice on these charges.

Planned Parenthood will always try to hide in the dark shadows. Bringing its dirty business to light is the job of local activists. Visit our website today to learn more about how to expose Planned Parenthood in your community.

Oregon Planned Parenthood abortion business set to expand using HUD community development funds

Planned Parenthood of Southwest Oregon is requesting $97,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to assist with the consolidation and expansion of its abortion business into Glenwood, OR. The CDBG funds emanate from HUD.

The new Planned Parenthood facility will be in the 3500 block of Franklin Blvd. According to a document online, it has already been approved for $73,893 of HUD money.

The Eugene-Springfield One-Year Action Plan 2011/12 reveals on Page 78 of the document the details of the funding and 8.5 million dollar expansion of Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon (PPSO):

Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon (PPSO) is requesting $97,000 of CDBG funds to assist with the construction of a regional health center in Glenwood. The new facility will combine two existing facilities in Eugene and Springfield. The planned project includes 10 exam rooms, 9 counseling rooms and two procedure rooms; a 50% increase in capacity as compared to the two existing facilities. The $8.5 million dollar project will be funded primarily through a capital campaign and the sale of the existing facilities. The project has been in development since July of 2010 with groundbreaking targeted for late summer 2011 and completion scheduled for late summer 2012. PPSO owns the land for the proposed site.

Groundbreaking for the new Planned Parenthood facility is scheduled for August. Pro-life advocates in Southwest Oregon are called to attend a public hearing scheduled for today regarding the development of the Glenwood area. The meeting will take place from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the Springfield City Hall, Library Meeting Room, 225 Fifth Street. For more information contact Pro-Life Action of Oregon.
Former head of PP abortion facility now heading recruitment for national Democrat congressional campaign committee

If you had any doubt about Planned Parenthood's hold on the Democrat party, this news should alleviate your doubts.

Rep. Allyson Schwartz was recently selected by the national Democrat party to lead its efforts to recruit Congressional candidates.

Schwartz founded Planned Parenthood's Elizabeth Blackwell Center in Philadelphia, and for 13 years acted as executive director.

According to Matthew Archbold of Creative Minority Report, the Philadelphia Daily News quoted a call from a Republican candidate that detailed an assortment of lawsuits against the clinic: "18 lawsuits have been filed against Miss Allyson Schwartz's clinic, including assault, battery, negligence, perforated bowels and uteruses," the woman said, "and even abortions performed without consent of her patients."

Schwartz has been true to her Planned Parenthood roots, earning a 100% pro-abortion score from NARAL.

Planned Parenthood and its cronies are leaving no stone unturned in insuring the abortion mammoth's future survival by government funding. It is imperative that pro-life people run for elected office at every level, and that the willingness to defend innocent human life be the litmus test of a person's suitability for office. After all, those who would kill innocent preborn children, either by commission or omission, are in no way worthy to hold political office.

American Life League is developing an exciting new resource to insure defunding of the abortion giant. Good news is coming soon! Check our websites often: www.all.org and www.stopp.org for new developments.

Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary: "He will rescue them from death"

One of the entrance songs for Masses "for Jesus" includes: "The thoughts of His Heart last through every generation, that He will rescue them from death and feed them in time of famine."

When we bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary, even though we may not see the fruits of our work immediately, we are rescuing children from death and mothers from the death of their hearts and souls, and possibly from physical death as well. We are saving children from Planned Parenthood's pernicious pornographic sex education. And we are gradually eliminating the blight of Planned Parenthood from our community.

If you have not joined the campaign to Bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary, today is the appointed day. Visit our website today, http://www.stopp.org/mary to find out more about this campaign that is rattling the diabolical foundation of Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood near Philadelphia closes

Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County is closing its Doylestown, PA, location, due to lack of funding. The facility has been in business for 29 years. PP officials say Medicaid reimbursement is not enough to support the failing business.

Though it will close its women's center in Doylestown, it will not close its Rainbow Room, "the organization's community center for lesbian, gay and transgender youth and their allies."

"The Rainbow Room will definitely exist. We have donors that support that program. We have grants that support that program. There's no other center like it in Bucks County. It's invaluable," a Planned Parenthood spokesperson said.

So much for Planned Parenthood's purported mission to poor women. The closure of the Doylestown center is in keeping with the Planned Parenthood business model of closing unprofitable non-abortion centers and focusing its resources on its lucrative abortion business.
