Pro-Life Groups Keep Fighting Democratic Bid to Kill Filibuster
Leading pro-life organizations are continuing efforts to get pro-life people to lobby members of the Senate against ending the filibuster.

They are worried about a move by pro-abortion Democrats in the Senate to kill the filibuster. If Harry Reid and his colleagues are successful, it would pave the way for President Barack Obama s abortion agenda.

Miracle Accident Saves Preemie Baby Doctors Would Have Let Die
A pair of scissors literally saved the life of Maddalena Douse, a British baby who is one of the smallest premature babies ever to survive in England.

In Great Britain, doctors consider one pound the minimum weight for a baby to be considered viable and worth heroic extra efforts to save his or her life. When doctors weighed Maddalena, she came in at exactly one pound, so physicians made the decision to try to save her. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/miracle-accident-saves-preemie-baby-doctors-would-have-let-die/

Planned Parenthood s Mandate: Obsessed With Income From Abortions
In late December of 2010, news was announced regarding Planned Parenthood s decision to require all affiliates to have at least one abortion center. LifeNews covered the announcement, after it was confirmed by Planned Parenthood in an interview. The article also referred to a dispute with a Texas affiliate with Planned Parenthood. I will admit I was not aware of the news at the time. And besides, at the end of 2010, the start of this mandate, 2013, seemed far off, even if still troubling. Now, however, we have almost approached that time.

And as we approach 2013, the mandate is again being picked up by news sources. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/planned-parenthoods-mandate-obsessed-with-income-from-abortions/

Abortion Activists Attack Pro-Life Group s Office, Destroy Cameras
Two pro-abortion activists attacked the office of the pro-life group Operation Rescue and destroyed a security camera at the organization s central Kansas headquarters.

Troy Newman, the head of the pro-life group, informed LifeNews of what happened.

He said: My heart sunk no, stopped when the Wichita Police investigator asked me: Mr. Newman, do you have any enemies? Anyone who really doesn t like you and wants to hurt you? You know the answer to that question http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/abortion-activists-attack-pro-life-groups-office-destroy-camera/

Report: 1 in 6 Babies in Denmark Survive Failed Abortions
A report out of Denmark says that 1 in 6 aborted late term babies there show signs of life after temporarily escaping death and being born. (Once a baby is born, he or she should no longer be considered a fetus.)

From the Politiken DK story: For the first time ever in Denmark, a survey has shown how many foetuses show signs of life following a late term termination, according to Kristeligt Dagblad. Previously, conventional wisdom has suggested that 10 per cent of foetuses gasped or showed other signs of life following a late term abortion between the 12th and 22nd week of pregnancy. ttp://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/report-1-in-6-babies-in-denmark-survive-failed-abortions/

Obama, Democrats Are Pro-Choice on Abortion But Nothing Else
Americans affirmation of the right to choose is a feature of our national identity. No matter where you go or what you re doing, chances are you are confronted with a plethora of choices. Go to the supermarket and you are confronted with a dizzying array of options for each and every product you wish to buy. Seventeen brands of Greek style yogurt. Forty-five flavors of coffee creamer. Raped Women Should Get Help, Not Face Abortion Pressure
The 2012 elections brought focus on banning abortions for the hard cases of rape, incest and where the mother s life is at stake. One pro-life advocate says there is too much focus on abortion for women in such cases, rather than providing them help. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/raped-women-should-get-help-not-face-abortion-pressure/

He s on His Way! The image of the ultrasound Christ in his mother s womb that was launched on thousands of billboards and other advertising venues in the UK and in other countries around the globe just two years ago, subtly showcases the fact that Jesus Christ was once an unborn child in need of protection to ensure his birth and ultimate mission in his life on earth. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/18/hes-on-his-way-christmas-starts-with-christ/
