Cleveland Right to Life See Dramatic Jump in Symposium Registration and Record Breaking Increase in 2013 Donations

CLEVELAND, Ohio, Jan. 20, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- As CRTL approaches the 5th annual "Bringing America Back to Life" Symposium on March 7 and 8 in Cleveland, all indications are that what has been the premier pro-life meeting in the country will continue as such. Cleveland Right to Life President Molly Smith notes, "The choir is singing with more confidence and attracting new members."

In 2013 CRTL donations saw a 79% increase and new donor giving is up by 57%. "We have more contributions, more exhibitors and more table reservations for our 2014 Symposium than we have ever had before at this time". Smith continued, "We have an outstanding schedule of speakers and a number of political figures from around the state will attend."

The Symposium was established to educate pro-life supporters and to encourage them in their important work in the field. In 2013 the event sold out establishing the fact that the CRTL is achieving this goal.

Jerry Cirino CRTL Chairman noted that in spite of dire predictions for the organizations future after they improved their focus to include support for traditional marriage, their donations for 2013 tell a different story.

"CRTL's active support from donors who contributed more than once in 2013, is up by 71% proving that there is increased confidence in the organizations improved focus. Retained donors year over year is up by 44% which is further indication that there is groundswell support for the current path," said Cirino.

CRTL attributes their success to the fact that they have stopped worrying about polls and have continued to focus on the truth and their grassroots. "While we know that polls have their place, we also know that the outcome often depends on who is asking and determining the questions. Ignoring these facts has sent many of the good guys down rabbit holes where the Mad Hatter begins to look sane," said Smith.

"We are excited to see that past participants and new nationally acclaimed organizations such as Heritage Action for America, have already signed up for booths and tickets," concluded Smith.

"2014 is shaping up to be a great year for our cause and our organization," noted Cirino. "We have the TRUTH behind us and the support of GREAT volunteers," he concluded.

Cleveland Right to Life represents grassroots prolife efforts from north east Ohio's 8 county region and is one of the largest and most effective prolife educational organizations in the state.
