"That is why we march, and that is why we pray."
Deirdre McQuade
The 2015 March for Life in Washington D.C. gathered a massive crowd to mark the 42nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade and to march for an end to abortion.
The night before, Cardinal Seán O'Malley of Boston, chairman of the bishops' Committee on Pro-Life Activities, fellow cardinals, and many of the nation's bishops and priests celebrated a Vigil Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception to pray for an end to abortion and other threats against the dignity of human life.
