Trump: Every child is a precious gift from God

My dear friend,

With news of the government shutdown and the women's march dominating the news cycle this weekend...

...I want to make sure you heard about the GOOD news that came out of Washington, DC: President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul Ryan unequivocally declared their support for the pro-life movement.

President Trump and Vice President Pence addressed the March for Life via live video feed from the White House Rose Garden, while Speaker Ryan spoke in person at the rally. (Reps. Jaime Herrera Beutler, Dan Lipinski, and Chris Smith also spoke.)

That's right – the three highest-ranking elected officials in America addressed the 45th annual March for Life.

You can watch President Trump's and Vice President Pence's remarks here.

My friend, this is not the first time a sitting president has participated in the March for Life. Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush both addressed the rally by phone when they were in office.

But it's been nearly a decade since we've had support from the White House.

I don't have to remind you of the open hostility towards the pro-life movement during the Obama administration. Fortunately, Donald Trump has stood proudly and firmly with us since the first day of his presidency.

But make no mistake – this isn't where our fight ends.

It's where it begins.

You see, what President Trump said in his address won't matter nearly as much as what he does over the next three years.

Because you and I both know that the real work in the pro-life movement doesn't happen at the March for Life – it happens the other 364 days a year.

The March for Life is where pro-life activists from all corners of the country come together after a long year in the trenches fighting for the most vulnerable among us.

And here at the Thomas More Society, we understand that more than most. In fact, our team flew in early for the March so we could participate in the annual Law of Life Summit the day before.

Because, as you know, defending pro-life activists – from David Daleiden to Joe and Ann Scheidler, Lila Rose and many more – is a huge part of the work our team does.

Work we couldn't do without your continued support.

My friend, knowing the President, Vice President and Speaker of the House stand with the pro-life movement gives me great hope that over the next few years we'll make big gains against the atheists, secularists and leftists who want to erase God from America.

So I hope you'll take the time to watch President Trump's remarks.

Thank you for standing up for life with the Thomas More Society.

May God Bless You,
