The Life Amendment, also known as House Bill 2252, has been introduced in the PA House of Representatives by state Rep. Donna Oberlander. This critical bill would ensure that there is no taxpayer funding of abortion, or so-called right to abortion, under the PA Constitution. The Life Amendment had been previously introduced in the PA Senate as Senate Bill 956 by State Senator Judy Ward.

The half-hour gathering will begin and end with prayer. The featured speaker will be Becky Biter, founder of Undefeated Courage and the local coordinator of Rachel’s Vineyard retreats. Becky and her husband Deacon Shawn Biter will bring a mobile ultrasound unit which they park near abortion facilities in York and Harrisburg giving women coming for abortions the option of seeing their babies in utero. Lewistown March for LifeThe Mifflin-Juniata Citizens Concerned for Human Life will host the Lewistown March for Life on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 1 p.m., starting at Sacred Heart of Jesus, 3rd and Dorcas Streets, and ending at the Hope Center at Bethel AME Church at 23 N. Juniata St. All are welcome to walk or meet at the Hope Center for the indoor program of speakers, prayer, and song, that will include a talk by Bonnie Finnerty, Education Director of the PA Pro-Life Federation.
