Expectant Mother Care-EMC FrontLine Pregnancy Centers

Well, we made it through the first wave of attacks by Jane’s Revenge and other pro-abortion terrorist groups who promised a ‘Night of Rage’—with more violence to follow—because of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

As you can see, our Brooklyn location was vandalized. I take it as a badge of honor. The “fake clinic” falsehood will be trammeled by our grateful clients each time they pass through our doors.

But this isn’t just graffiti from a fringe radical pro-abortion group. Within the fake-clinic falsehood lies a larger systemic attack on pregnancy centers.

Here’s how it works.

The media, politicians, and government bureaucrats—that unholy trio of liberal power—have made it their mission to wipe out pregnancy centers that do not refer for abortions.

They are actively working to legally force us to refer our clients for abortions. Or make us close, one by one.

We know this because the abortion obsessed Hochul regime has already targeted us through recent legislation that empowers the New York State Commissioner of Health to shut down pregnancy centers that do not provide abortion services.

The Department of Health will conduct a study—more like a fake study—examining “limited-service pregnancy centers.”

We don’t have “limited service.” We’re medically comprehensive. But we don’t kill our clients’ babies.

All three of our NYC locations have licensed medical supervision. Each EMC Frontline location is staffed with a full-time New York State-registered nurse. We have ultrasound technicians, of course. Most importantly, our medical director is an Ob/Gyn physician, or obstetrician, a doctor who specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s reproductive system.

We are criticized because our staff wear scrubs, as though we’re pretending to be a clinic. But that’s the uniform of the medical profession—and our staff are medical professionals!

They attack us because we give out diapers to moms in need. But that’s because we have a significant history of supporting moms in need and new families. We distribute over $2 million in living supplies to vulnerable NYC families each year.

It’s a witch hunt that will target pregnancy centers like ours to discredit us and then to pass crippling legislation to make it impossible to operate a center without abortion.
The formula is simple to the politicians who equate offering abortion with being a legitimate clinic.

That’s why Assemblymember Deborah J. Glick, 66th Assembly District, Manhattan, called pregnancy centers like ours “fake clinics.”

Try telling the thousands and thousands of women we’ve helped with free living supplies and ultrasounds that we’re a “fake clinic.” Then you’ll hear the truth: that EMC Frontline cares about NYC’s vulnerable women in need.

I take anywhere from 25 to 50 calls each and every day from these women, so I have a pretty clear understanding of what they need and what they’re up against. Imagine suddenly learning that you have an unexpected pregnancy amid all the politics and terrorist acts going on. What do you do? Who can you trust?

Our clients and their needs must always remain at the fore, despite the cultural upheavals we’re experiencing.

To that point, this past Wednesday I was in upstate NY with our amazing volunteers unloading 4,300 cases of Huggies diapers. That’s 20,000 pounds of diapers! And they’re all going to New York City moms in need.

Is this what “fake clinics” do? I don’t think so, and neither do you, our partners in this fierce struggle.

Folks, I was heaving diaper packages while on the phone with scared moms-to-be. Not a single abortion is being restricted, especially in New York.

That’s why I ordered an immediate summer expansion of our services last week—from more staff to more nurses to more ultrasounds. We need to have compassion and expand our accessibility for these women. We need to be there for the local and out-of-state women.
We can show them that there’s a better way and that they don’t have to live in regret for the rest of their lives.

You can help them change their minds by being a partner in our $20,000 immediate summer expansion.

  • $52 per month matches one dollar per year of NY State abortions which started July 1, 1970.

  • $100 per month covers the cost of one life-saving ultrasound.

  • $150 per month helps cover the cost of advertising to promote our services to moms in need.
Thank you for being our partners in our struggle against the forces of abortion.

I am so grateful.
Yours for Life,
