PA Abortion Totals Rise But the Number Would be Much Higher Were It Not for Pregnancy Help

HARRISBURG, PA-The number of abortions rose in Pennsylvania during the year 2021, according to figures released by the PA Department of Health. “Every abortion is a tragedy, but the increase in the number of abortions in Pennsylvania is particularly disturbing," said Maria Gallagher, legislative director for the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, the Keystone State affiliate of National Right to Life.

Prayer Breakfast in Erie

On January 14, 2023, the Erie pro-life community will gather at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center for People for Life’s 45th Annual Pro-Life Breakfast. International pro-life speaker, Patricia Sandoval, is the keynoter. Doors open at 8 a.m. The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes by 11:30 a.m. Complimentary child care will be available. Online reservations will be available soon, but it is not too early to make reservations through the mail. Send $22 per seat with your name, address, and phone number to People for Life; P.O. March for Life Bus from Erie

People for Life is sponsoring their 50th annual bus trip to the National March for Life. The bus will depart on Thursday, January 19 at 11 p.m. and will arrive back in Erie on Saturday morning, January 21. The cost of one seat is $65. For more information, click HERE.


March for Life Bus from Bedford

Bedford County Citizens Concerned for Human Life are sponsoring a bus to the National March for Life on Friday, January 20 that will leave the Walmart Parking Lot at 9 am and will stop for supper on the way home.  Overturn of Roe Celebration

The Hazleton Chapter of Pennsylvanians for Human Life will co-host with The Voice of John a pro-life ecumenical event on January 22 at 2 PM at St. John Bosco Church, Route 93 in Sugarloaf. With prayer and music, they will celebrate the overturn of Roe, honoring the lives of 64 million children who have died from abortion. The featured speaker is Elizabeth Leon, author of Let Yourself Be Loved: Big Lessons from a Little Life, the story of a mother carrying a baby to term with the certainty of death. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free but donations are welcome.
