Watch: Personhood's New York affiliate was attacked but NOT intimidated

 

 

Being pro-life in New York is not easy, and it's not getting any easier. This year, during the annual International Gift of Life Walk (organized by the Personhood Alliance's NY affiliate) pro-lifers were the target of harassment and abuse by ANTIFA radicals.  In the video below you can watch as several pro-lifers are cornered on a sidewalk and verbally and physically abused. Pro-abortion activists also attempted to block the path of the pro-lifers by piling garbage in the middle of the road. However, ANTIFA didn't know who they were up against, because the members of Personhood in New York are truly fearless. They are not afraid because their strength comes from the Lord, and they will not be intimidated. We know that we are not called to be successful, but faithful.  Advocating for the Personhood of the pre-born child, even in cases of rape and incest is not easy.  Doing so in modern-day New York City, is even more difficult. But where should the light of Truth shine, if not in the deepest darkness? The president of our NY affiliate, Dawn Eskew, wrote to me today and wanted to make absolutely clear that Personhood NY is not intimidated, in fact they are not even dwelling on the attacks. Dawn's favorite picture of the Walk was this fantastic picture taken by photographer Jeffrey Bruno.  It is a picture of the pro-life group marching down the Canyon of Heroes, which is the path taken by the historic ticker tape parades that celebrated some of the greatest achievements of mankind.    DONATE NOW All of us at the Personhood Alliance have the optimism of knowing that our cause is just and that it will prevail over the darkness of the culture of death.  We also know that such optimism is contagious.
