This just in, Joe Healy, the Associate Director of Defend Life - DefendLife.org, reports that 18 individuals were arrested today in Maryland while showing the true face of abortion. In his Email, Healy had this to say about what happened:

This is Joe Healy in for Jack Ames, who is one of 18 of my pro-life friends who were arrested in Bel Air, MD, this evening while peacefully holding pro-life signs on the side of the road.

They were not told what they were being arrested for, nor were they read their rights during arrest.

Here is a picture of what we were doing just prior to the arrests:

Fortunately, they let out the two minors a couple of hours ago, but the remaining 16 pro-lifers are still being “processed.”

I was with them at the MD State Police Barracks where they were still being processed at 11:15 PM. The police will be taking them four at a time to the Harford County Detention Center for final processing and hopefully released.

Please pray for them right now and pass this message along to others who will pray. Spread the word: our First Amendment rights are non-existent in Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland.

God bless,

Joe Healy
Associate Director

The Face the Truth Tour is an annual event that takes place in the Washington D.C. area. Many team members drive as a “core team” to 3 stops a day for 5 days, while Pro-Life people who can come to the individual stops join them. The group holds signs of murdered humans to show the ugly truth of abortion, or pre-natal murder.
