Pro-Life Democrats to Tell Party to Moderate Abortion Stance
For the first time in two decades, the Democratic National Committee s platform committee will hear from pro-life advocates wanting the party to moderate its pro-abortion platform that also calls for taxpayer funding of abortions.

Last Friday, Democrats For Life of America submitted written testimony to suggest language for the Democratic platform. The Democratic platform drafting committee, who will hear testimony on July 27-29, has asked Democrats For Life to provide oral testimony. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/pro-life-democrats-to-tell-party-to-moderate-abortion-stances/

FBI Told to Quit Harassing Pro-Life Advocate Over Free Speech
A pro-life legal group has issued a letter to the FBI asking officials to quit harassing a peaceful pro-life advocate who is only expressing his First Amendment free speech rights by protesting outside abortion facilities.

The Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF) sent a letter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) because they threatened and questioned pro-life advocate Andrew Moore at his home in Dallas, Texas on July 13. The FBI agents talked to Moore for over an hour about his peaceful free speech activities that take place on public sidewalks outside of Southwestern Abortion Clinic in Dallas. The letter demands that the FBI stop the harassment. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/fbi-told-to-quit-harassing-pro-life-advocate-over-free-speech/

Billy Graham: Abortion Has Taken America s Morality Downhill

In a new prayer letter Billy Graham writes: My heart aches for America and its deceived people. The wonderful news is that our Lord is a God of mercy, and He responds to repentance.

Pro-Life Encyclical Humanae Vitae Celebrates Its 44th Birthday
You may be forgiven for not knowing that July 25 is the 44th anniversary of encyclical Humanae Vitae.

Who, after all, is going to remind you? Not the secular media, which scoffs at the idea that men and women can practice self-control in matters of sex. No, they will not breathe a word about Pope Paul VI s courageous rejection of sterilization and contraception as contravening God s loving design for marriage and the Natural Law.

Like Sanger, Obama More Interested in Abortion Than Women s Lives
It is in our nature to mourn the loss of life. How much more tragic when the life of a mother is taken at the same time her child is ripped from her womb. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/like-sanger-obama-more-interested-in-abortion-than-womens-lives/

Company Wants Trial for Alzheimer s Using Aborted Fetal Cells
As a proud American, my knee-jerk response was to be defensive and wonder where in the U.S. are the aborted unborn routinely found discarded by the side of the road. Nowhere, of course. So why, in the United States, would we be expected to have such a gruesome find. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/company-wants-trial-of-alzheimers-drug-using-aborted-fetal-cells/

Russians Find 248 Aborted Babies Abandoned in Mountains
If there were not gruesome pictures that go along with this story, I may have doubted its veracity. It is just too horrible. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/25/obamas-abortion-hhs-mandate-is-both-unjust-and-illegal/

Euthanasia Backers Now Want Assisted Suicide Without Doctors
I often say that if you want to see where and how society will next go wrong, just look at the articles on ethics and culture currently being published in the world s top medical and bioethics journals. Latest case in point, an article in the New England Journal of Medicine urging that doctors be taken out of assisted suicide because too many refuse to participate. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/euthanasia-backers-now-want-assisted-suicide-without-doctors/

Families of Kids With Disabilities; Our Lives Are Enriched
A research study that was published in the current edition of the Journal Pediatrics found that parents of children with Trisomy 13/18, conditions whereby the child has an extra 13 or 18 chromosome, indicated that the parents considered the child to be happy and found that their lives were enriched by the child. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/families-of-kids-with-disabilities-our-lives-are-enriched/

Moms At Risk for Abortion Tell Congress Pregnancy Centers Helped
As the federal government mandates insurance coverage for contraceptives, including abortion-causing drugs, and promulgates additional rules for implementing Obamacare, Americans may be forced to pay for the heinous practice of abortion. Heartbeat International was on Capitol Hill recently leading moms who want to advance pro-child policies at the national leve. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/26/moms-at-risk-for-abortion-tell-congress-pregnancy-centers-helped/
