Today, a federal court granted Hobby Lobby a preliminary injunction against the HHS abortion-drug mandate. The injunction prevents the Obama administration from enforcing the mandate against the Christian company, which does not want to be compelled to pay for birth control or drugs that may cause abortions.
This victory comes less than a month after a landmark decision by the full 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled 5-3 that Hobby Lobby can exercise religion under the First Amendment and is likely to win its case against the mandate. That decision helped the Christian craft store not be force to pay fines while its lawsuit continues. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
After Tonya Reaves died from complications during a botched second-trimester abortion suffered at a Chicago area Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on July 20, 2012 it took months for the medical examiner to release a report on her death.
Once a copy of Tonya Reaves autopsy report was made public, it showed the 24-year old woman died from the abortion she obtained at Planned Parenthood. The report indicated Reaves injuries were survivable if she had received proper emergency care in a timely manner. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
The Planned Parenthood abortion business is closing yet another location this time in New Jersey. The abortion giant will close the facility it operates in Somerset County within the next month.
The Philadelphia Medical Examiners Office locked out a group of prominent pro-life leaders who went there to demand information about what has happened to the bodies of the babies Kermit Gosnell killed in abortions and infanticides.
As LifeNews has reported, the MEs office has refused information about whether the babies have been buried or cremated and will not released their bodies to pro-life activist Father Frank Pavone, who wants to give them a proper burial. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Woman in Chinas Guizhou province is in critical condition after family planning officials beat her and forced her to submit to an abortion. The woman, named Li Fengfei, was 18 weeks pregnant at the time of the abortion.

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast took the occasion of Texas Governor Rick Perrys signing of a new omnibus pro-life law today to announce it was closing three of its 12 clinics. The reason, per Huffington Post:
Im a native Pennsylvanian who was working in the pro-life movement in that state when the news first broke of the atrocities that had taken place at Kermit Gosnells Womens Medical Center abortion clinic in West Philadelphia.
The NAACP has picked up the welcome mat when it comes to black conservatives attending the national conference of the civil rights group, which has consistently supported abortion in recent years. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Pro-Life Men Reject BroChoice More Abortions for More Sex Argument
Pro-abortion men, aided by top pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL, are pushing the BroChoice notion that abortion should remain legal so they can have as much consequence-free sex as theyd like. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
A unique attempt at banning late-term abortions through the petition process at the city level is close to reaching its goal of 12,000 signatures in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a city that is now known as the Late-term Abortion Capital of the U.S. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

The use of choice in the abortion debate was never substantive. Everyone understands that some choices are morally unproblematic (choosing to exercise, to eat ice cream, to talk with friends) and other choices are not (choosing to rape, to steal, to abuse children). http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
