Abortion activists opposing the 20-week abortion ban bill in Texas have drawn national attention for chanting Hail Satan while pro-life advocates sang Amazing Grace.
The chanting was too much even for a Church of Satan group on Twitter that denounced its use in association with the promotion of abortion.
A national pro-life organization is outraged after three major American newspapers rejected a pro-life ad as too controversial.
The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and the LA Times refused to run an advertisement created by Heroic Media. The ad features a hand holding a 20- to 24-week-old baby with the quote, This child has no voice, which is why it depends on yours. Speak Up. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Today, Governor Scott Walker signed Senate Bill 206 (Sonyas Law) into law. This important new law requires that women seeking abortions in Wisconsin be given the opportunity to see their unborn children through ultrasound.
The Planned Parenthood abortion business in Wisconsin is so concerned about a new law that will allow women to see an ultrasound of their unborn child before an abortion that it says it will file a lawsuit to stop it.
The state legislature approved the measure, Senate Bill 206 (Sonyas Law), which is legislation that provides a baby with the opportunity for his mother to see him through ultrasound before his mother makes a choice about how to proceed with her pregnancy. The woman can choose the type of ultrasound after all options are explained to her. The ultrasound helps to determine the age of the baby. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

Pope Francis on Friday paved the way for the recognition of sainthood for Pope John Paul II. From news reports on the decision:
Francis decided that John XXIII could be declared a saint even though the Vatican hasnt confirmed a second miracle attributed to his intercession. The Vatican said Francis had the power to dispense with such requirements and proceed with only one confirmed miracle to his name. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Every Fourth of July, we commemorate the day that our country declared independence and began her quest to become a unique nationone where personal freedoms are honored and government intrusion is limited. We have had victories in this pursuit, but we have also had setbacks, perhaps none as great recently as the 2010 enactment of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The Texas legislature is considering a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy and hold abortion clinics accountable for violating womens health. The bill would put part of late-term abortion practitioner Dana Kusnirs abortion shop out of business.
The stage is set and the spotlight shines down on a group of young, smiling faces. Their beautiful hair, clothing and make-up pale in comparison to a far more important inner beauty thats shining through. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

Although polling data and massive public rallies show the Irish people are opposed, the Ireland Parliament took the first step to legalize some abortions with a 138-24 to allow abortions. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

The news of two men supposedly being cured from HIV (only the 3rd and 4th people ever to be cured) is cause for celebration for those promoting ethical adult stem cells, and provides motivation to increase adult stem cell research. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
