Shapiro Administration Tries to Cut Off Services to Pregnant Women!

Thousands of women across Pennsylvania could be deprived of vital services as a result of the Shapiro Administration's latest move.

The PA Department of Human Services has announced it plans to cancel Real Alternatives' contract by the end of the year.

Real Alternatives administers the Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services Program, which funds pregnancy care centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies throughout PA.

More than 340,000 women have been served by the program, which has served as a model for the rest of the nation.

Action Item: Please call your state representative and state Senator and urge them to call upon the Shapiro Administration to rescind its decision and to help pregnant women receive the services they need.

U.S. OB-GYN association will not debate; says abortion as health care is "settled science"

What does it say when a major medical organization that holds to strong statements and beliefs refuses to debate on a straightforward topic?

Is Consent to Sex Consent to Pregnancy? A Reply to Boonin's Argument from Social Conventions

If you have engaged in the abortion debate at all, you have definitely come across certain arguments for abortion known as bodily-rights arguments. These arguments attempt to demonstrate that abortion is permissible even if an unborn child is a human person with a right to life.

For example, in his book, Beyond Roe: Why Abortion Should be Legal Even if the Fetus Is a Person, David Boonin argues that abortion is ethically similar to the real-life court case McFall v Shimp. To summarize the case, Robert McFall needed a bone marrow transplant in order to live. Testing revealed that his cousin, David Shimp, was a match, but Shimp refused to go through with donating his bone marrow to McFall.

New York Group Sends Abortion Ship to Gulf of Mexico, Targeting Texas Unborn Babies

Just a little over one year ago, the United States Supreme Court released the country from the lethal shackles of Roe v. Wade with their decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. This ruling returned the issue of abortion to the states, enabling them to once again pass laws that protect preborn life at any stage of development.

Texas was prepared for this moment — our pre-Roe law took effect once again, immediately stopping the abortion industry and protecting all preborn children from the moment of fertilization. But abortion fanatics would not give up so easily. Already, anti-Life groups have been plotting to lawlessly mail deadly abortion pills into Texas.
