Hundreds of Thousands Gather for Record-Breaking March for Life
More than 500,000 people are attending today s March for Life in a massive attendance that could be well higher than that estimate and set records for the annual pro-life event challenging the mantra of unlimited abortion.

Typically held on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions at any point in pregnancy for any reason, the march for Life typically sees anywhere from 250,000 to 500,000 people lining the streets towards the Supreme Court building. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/25/hundreds-of-thousands-gather-for-record-breaking-march-for-life/

Speaker Boehner Tells March for Life: We Will Stop Abortion Funding
Speaker of the House John Boehner, a pro-life congressman from Ohio, released the address to LifeNews that will be played at the March for Life today.

During the speech, Boehner says the House will approve a bill to make the Hyde Amendment banning taxpayer funding of abortions permanent. New Bill Stops Taking Teen Girls Out of State for Secret Abortions
A new bill introduced in the U.S. Senate would stop the practice of adults other than a teenage girl s parents from taking her to another state for an abortion.

With abortion clinics arranging for other relatives or adults the clinic assigns to escort an underage girl for a secret abortion in another state without her parents knowing the new legislation from Sen. Rob Portman, an Ohio Republican, would ban the practice. A Canadian man is on trial for killing his girlfriend in a brutal murder. Tamrat Gebere, an Ethiopian immigrant, admitted to killing Aster Kassa in July of 2010. Gebrere reportedly stabbed Kassa 53 times.
