We are now seeing President Obama's real agenda and it is very disturbing. It's out - bold, front and centre. He will use his enormous political power to try to remake marriage and family life and suppress all the natural law concepts of sexual morality.

Obama has taken on the role, invoking some false god, of the anti-religion leader of the United States, and perhaps also of the world, in direct opposition to such as Pope Benedict who recently issued grave warnings about these developments.

Benedict warned in December “While up to now we regarded a false understanding of the nature of human freedom as one cause of the crisis of the family, it is now becoming clear that the very notion of being - of what being human really means – is being called into question.”

In August Benedict warned that that the United States is facing threats of “unprecedented gravity” to religious freedom. Indeed it is.

Now we have to ask, "what can we do about it?" Also, does the public understand the implications of what Obama is proposing? So far, it appears very many do not. We all have a job to do - that cannot be avoided, no matter how much we might want to stay in our cozy Hobbit shires.

The same pattern is happening in Europe as we see again today.

But, have hope. There is a growing roar of oppostion in Ireland, across the United States, in Washington next week and many other places against the  violence, lies and manipulations of the anti-life, anti-family and essentially anti-human forces.
