Republican Party Backs De-Funding Planned Parenthood
The Republican Party is now officially on record as supporting the de-funding of the taxpayer-supported Planned Parenthood abortion business. On Friday, top GOP officials at the RNC approved a measure supporting efforts to revoke its taxpayer funding.

As longtime pro-life and Republican attorney Jim Bopp informed LifeNews, the The Republican National Committee passed a resolution to end any and all taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation s biggest abortion company, and to send money to legitimate women s health care efforts instead. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/republican-party-backs-de-funding-planned-parenthood/

Catholic University Will Keep Fighting Mandate After Defeat
A new study from the Media Research Center shows the three major broadcast networks, (ABC, NBC, and CBS) gave 521 times more coverage to Manti Te o s fake dead girlfriend than they gave to over 500,000 real people at the March for Life. The study from MRCs Culture and Media Institute finds ABC, CBS, and NBC devoted close to two-and-a-half hours (147.7 minutes) to the Te o fiasco and just 17 seconds to the March for Life.

As MRC reports on its blog: ABC covered the story of the Notre Dame s linebacker for 63 minutes and 57 seconds, while NBC came close with 59 minutes and 15 seconds. CBS was rational by comparison with just 24 minutes and 31 seconds. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/catholic-university-will-keep-fighting-mandate-after-defeat/

Disabled Baby Will Walk, Talk After Parents Rejected Abortion
The Boston Globe has a report on an amazing story of a couple who rejected an abortion of their very disabled baby and are glad they did so.

Dominic Pio Gundrum was born with a rare disorder in which part of his brain was exposed, the newspaper reports. Despite suggestions to have an abortion, the parents chose not to and, following surgeries, doctors now say he will walk and talk. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/very-disabled-baby-will-walk-talk-after-parents-rejected-abortion/

No Toure , Real Men Don t Thank God for Abortion
I want everyone reading this to understand that I am a post-abortive Dad of 2 children. I have found healing and pray that all those men who are suppressing their pain and guilt will come to the one true Person who can forgive their sins, even the sin of murder, Jesus Christ.

I was going about my day today when my wife and blogger Kelly Clinger sent me a video to watch. By now, many of you have seen Toure Neblett, co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC, talk about the abortion from his past. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/no-toure-real-men-dont-thank-god-for-abortion/

Abortion Clinic Closes in Ohio After Pledging to Stay Open
An abortion clinic in Columbus Ohio, Capital Care Women s Center, has finally officially closed, after reports last year indicated it would do so and a pledge from its operators to stay open.

As LifeNews reported last year, Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation notified LifeNews the abortion center would close, saying Capital Care has been plagued with decreased business and financial problems and recently cut back clinic hours due to difficulty keeping an abortion practitioner employed. An increasingly strong pro-life presence in Central Ohio is credited with contributing to the decision to close, she added. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/abortion-clinic-closes-in-ohio-after-pledging-to-stay-open/

Reporters Who Watch Abortions Tell of Their Brutal Reality
Sometimes authors of magazines are allowed to witness abortions in the course of writing articles. Sometimes medical students who never had an opinion on abortion come to grips with the procedure after viewing one. People who observe abortion procedures or abortion remains usually come away with little doubt that abortion is killing a human being.

Author Verlyn Klinkenborg of Harper s Magazine visited an abortion clinic for a 1995 article. After viewing the remains of an abortion at ten weeks, he wrote the following http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/reporters-who-watch-abortions-tell-of-their-brutal-reality/

Christians Must Stand Up for Conscience Rights, Against Abortion
Theological courage calls the inner-man to ignore his buckling knees and take theologically driven stances that, while potentially controversial, are righteous in nature. So write Owen Strachen and Andrew Walker in a recent article discussing Hobby Lobby s stance against Obamacare s onerous trampling of religious liberty.

The idea of martyrdom, be it physical, social, or financial, is a strange concept to the American mind. The word conjures images of ancient inquisitions, tyrannical princes, and subjugated peoples. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/christians-must-stand-up-for-conscience-rights-against-abortion/

MTV 16 and Pregnant Couple Stand Strong Against Abortion

The details haven t been fully worked out in this new legislation, but it appears California lawmakers will again push to try to allow non-physicians to do abortions in the Golden State. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/california-bill-returns-to-allow-non-doctors-to-do-abortions/

Patients: Remember Embryonic Stem Cells Can t Treat Cancer
Friday last was a cold and cloudy day in DC, but like many pro-lifers in the city that morning I was excited about participating in the March for Life later that afternoon. A coworker, a friend really, a brother and I were standing in the alley behind our office building sipping coffee when his wife called. It s a call no parent should ever get his four-year-old son had been diagnosed with Leukemia. We ran inside, hastily grabbed our coats and keys and headed to a hospital in Northern Virginia. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/patients-remember-embryonic-stem-cells-cant-treat-cancer/

College Offers Class How to Have an Orgasm, No Abstinence Program
Every year, the Young America s Foundation releases a list of outrageous course offerings at various colleges and universities across the country. Aside from the courses that a student might take, they are also exposed to campus wide events that may stand contradictory to morals and have nothing to do with the reason why they are there in the first place: To learn and gain the skill set necessary for their future. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/college-offers-class-how-to-have-an-orgasm-no-abstinence-program/

New Mexico State Representative Cathrynn Brown caused a left-wing firestorm of controversy when she introduced a bill intended to punish rapists who force their victims to have abortions in order to cover up their crimes. Pro-aborts immediately began attacking Brown, accusing her of wanting to put rape victims who get abortions in jail. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/30/punishing-rapist-vs-protecting-abortion-bill-says-no-contest/
