From 40 Days For Life: DAY 7: Two abortion facilities close!

"It is closed!"
Those were the words of Irene from Orlando, where ten 40 Days for Life campaigns had been held in front of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility.
Irene and her team had suspected this day was coming, and they received confirmation when Planned Parenthood's signage was removed. "We are here," Irene said. "They are moving all their stuff out! God heard the cries of His people!"
And that's not the only abortion facility to go out of business!

"Reproductive Services" in El Paso, Texas--the site of nine 40 Days for Life campaigns--has also closed its doors.

With confetti and streamers raining down, Mark announced that the facility, which had been performing abortions for more than four decades, had quit seeing customers and no longer held an abortion license.
May many more abortion businesses follow suit and close their doors for good!

St. Paul, Minnesota

Last week, I spoke at the kickoff event for the 40 Days for Life campaign in St. Paul. St. Paul is home to the third largest Planned Parenthood abortion facility in America, performing more than 6,000 abortions per year.
The courageous leaders--Brian Gibson and Brian Walker--have covered this location with prayer and sidewalk counseling. Five pastors led a large group in prayer on a cool fall night as we kicked off St. Paul's campaign for the 10th year.

St. Cloud, Minnesota

The Planned Parenthood in St. Cloud is in trouble as the local 40 Days for Life campaign continues to grow under Judy's leadership. We kicked off the vigil at a church and then processed to Planned Parenthood on a cold fall day.
The facility is on a very busy street near a college, but it has received plenty of opposition from the community. In fact, some volunteers have been praying at this location for decades.
Judy’s campaign is impressive, and it doesn’t seem like Planned Parenthood will be able to stay in business with so many prayer warriors offering free alternatives right on the sidewalk.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.
—Luke 4:18-19
Lord, send us to the poorest, the most broken, the most captive, the most blind and the most oppressed in the world, the innocent pre-born children in their mother’s wombs that are scheduled for destruction. Help us to bring them healing, liberty, sight and justice through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
