Catholic websites supporting pro-life action, for the “Day for the Sanctity of Life”

EUROPE/POLAND -

Czestochowa (Agenzia Fides) – On March 25, feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, the Church in Poland will celebrate the "Day for the Sanctity of Life," to support the defense of human life from conception until natural death. This event has led all the pro-life organizations and associations to unite in a common effort, thanks to the use of modern technology such as the Internet. "Niedzela," the most widely-read Catholic journal in Poland (headquartered in Czestochowa), will also take part from March 16-24, promoting the pro-life activities sponsored by 5 Catholic websites in Poland: www.niedziela.pl, YouthFl.org, duchowy.pl, PrzystanekJezus.pl, and PokolenieJP2.eu. Their campaign is entitled "Save What is Holy" and will take place in the form of a novena leading up to the feast of the Lord's Annunciation. Every day, the 5 Catholic websites will post meditations on the theme of human life, the dignity and holiness of the human person, as well as prayers for defending life.
