Pro-Life Protestors Interrupt Sebelius' Georgetown Address
As promised, pro-life advocates interrupted the speech pro-abortion HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius gave at Georgetown University today. The speech has drawn condemnation from the Archdiocese of Washington, which has complained that the Catholic university should not be giving a platform to the abortion advocate.

More than 30,000 people have signed petitions complaining to Georgetown about allowing Sebelius to give a commencement speech. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/17/second-catholic-college-may-drop-health-care-over-obamacare-mandate/

Romney's First TV AD: Begin Obamacare Repeal on Day One
The Mitt Romney presidential campaign released its first television commercial today with the Republican candidate outlining what he would do on his first day in office, if elected president.

Should Romney defeat pro-abortion President Barack Obama, he says on day one he would begin the process of repealing Obamacare — something that will likely attract pro-life voters and the majority of Americans who are opposed to the health care law that includes abortion funding and rationing concerns. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/romneys-first-tv-ad-begin-obamacare-repeal-on-day-one/

Obama Campaign Hires Staffer to Corral Catholic Voters
The presidential campaign of pro-abortion President Barack Obama has hired a new staffer whose job description will be to corral Catholic and Evangelical voters. The hiring comes at a time when Obama is enduring heavy criticism for not only his pro-abortion record but the HHS mandate his administration put in place requiring pro-life and religious groups that pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions for their employees.

Michael Wear, currently the executive assistant to the executive director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, will join the Obama campaign as faith vote coordinator, according to a CNN report. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/obama-campaign-hires-staffer-to-corral-catholic-voters/

Congressional Black Caucus Holds Meeting to Blast Pro-Lifers
On May 10 the Congressional Black Caucus and Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus were honorary co-hosts of a wordy briefing entitled, "African Americans' Attitudes on Abortion, Contraception, and Reproductive, Justice: From Public Opinion to Policymaking," held at the U.S. Capitol.

On the agenda:

"numerous challenges to accessing quality, affordable reproductive health care… exacerbated by campaigns targeting the African American community"
"research on the latest attitudes and concerns of African Americans relating to reproductive justice"
"key messaging as a response to attacks and threats to reproductive rights" http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/congressional-black-caucus-holds-meeting-to-blast-pro-lifers/

Michael J. Fox Admits Embryonic Stem Cells Likely Won't Cure Him
Michael J. Fox was one of the leading campaigners for embryonic stem cell research. He aggressively pushed to force taxpayers to fund embryonic stem cell research, opposed pro-life limits on it, and even attended a State of the Union address by President George W. Bush in order to flaunt his position.

Now, with embryonic stem cells nowhere closer to yielding any beneficial results for patients, Fox is admitting embryonic stem cell research isn't all he claimed it was cracked up to be.

Obama's "War on Women" Campaign Strategy is Imploding
The so-called "War on Women" should have been a deadly hit, a fatal blow to the GOP's hopes to cut into the huge majority of the female vote that went for Obama in 2008. Or so strategists thought when the Democrats launched their campaign to persuade the public that the GOP was engaging         in a "War on Women." They thought they had a sure thing. The planets were aligned just right for success. Their rallying cry was powerful; their         victim was vulnerable; the media had their backs, and they are masters of deadly destruction in the art of political warfare.

Armed to the hilt for battle, the Democrats and President Obama sent their troops forth in the imaginary GOP "War on Women." They assumed women all across the nation would fall into line behind them once they heard the battle cry. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/obamas-war-on-women-campaign-strategy-is-imploding/

Man Arrested for Selling "Roasted Fetuses" for Good Luck
Police arrested a British man of Taiwanese origin in Bangkok today who was found to have six "roasted fetuses" in his hotel room that he planned to sell to businessmen for supposed good luck.

Chow Hok Kuen, 28, faces charges of hiding and covering dead bodies and a jail term of up to a year if convicted and sentenced to the maximum. The arrest followed a tip police received about a website Chow operated that advertise the sale of the "roasted fetuses," according to CNN. Police eventually searched his hotel room and found six unborn children in total in a box inside his luggage. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/man-arrested-for-selling-roasted-fetuses-for-good-luck/

Pro-Abortion Groups Still Unfazed by Forced Abortions in China
As events unfold in the gripping saga of Chen Guangcheng's desperate bid to flee Chinese oppressors, trolls for the Chinese government have posted comments on websites that, unwittingly, remind us why he is persecuted: Chen dared to expose the brutal reality of China's population control program. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/pro-abortion-groups-still-unfazed-by-forced-abortions-in-china/

Planned Parenthood Continues Denying Abortion-Breast Cancer Link
Even though 53 out of 66 studies done since 1957 show an increased risk of breast cancer after induced abortion, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards sent out an impassioned plea for money to fight new Kansas legislation that she deceptively claims will "force doctors to lie to       their patients. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/planned-parenthood-continues-denying-abortion-breast-cancer-link/

Americans Might Spend Millions on Repeat Abortions Under Obamacare
You probably still remember Andrea Yates who nearly 11 years ago drowned her four young sons and infant daughter, one after another, in the family's bathtub. The horror of this crime was unimaginable. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/americans-might-spend-millions-on-repeat-abortions-under-obamacare/

Man Wanted Baby Aborted, Crushed Her Head After Birth
A Pennsylvania man who wanted his girlfriend to have an abortion and wound up crushing his baby daughter's skull shortly after her birth, is heading to prison for life without the possibility of parole.http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/man-wanted-baby-aborted-crushed-her-head-after-birth/

Pro-Lifers Should be Cautious of Term "Reproductive Health"
In two recent papers, Meghan Grizzle of the World Youth Alliance argues that the phrases "reproductive health" and "family planning" are perfectly acceptable and that pro-lifers should fight for them. She argues that abortion is not a part of reproductive health in international law and contraceptives are not a part of family planning. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/pro-lifers-should-be-cautious-of-term-reproductive-health/

Democrats Pained by Proposal to Ban Late-Term Abortions in DC
Once again, Democrats on Capitol Hill manage to redirect attention from their advocacy of killing the unborn to feigned outrage over a procedural non-issue. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/democrats-pained-by-proposal-to-ban-late-term-abortions-in-dc/

Lozier Institute a Pro-Life Think Tank Challenging Guttmacher
The Susan B. Anthony List, a national pro-life women's organization, has created a pro-life think that will spit out statistical analysis and information in a way that rivals the Guttmacher Institute, which strongly supports abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/lozier-institute-a-pro-life-think-tank-challenging-guttmacher/

Nebraska: Fischer Gets Pro-Life Backing After Surprise Win
On Tuesday, Nebraska Republicans chose pro-life state Senator Deb Fischer as their nominee for the US Senate seat being vacated by pro-life turncoat Sen. Ben Nelson (D). Unlike Nelson who threw pro-life advocates under the bus by voting for the pro-abortion Obama healthcare law and to maintain federal funding for Planned Parenthood, Fischer promises to bring strong pro-life convictions to the Senate. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/18/nebraska-fischer-gets-pro-life-backing-after-surprise-win/
