Feast of Christ the King
Dear Friends,
On the one hand, we have an ever increasing knowledge of the size, extent and complexity of our universe. Indeed, the size and expanse of the universe is awesome and overwhelming – too much for our limited imagination to comprehend. We believe that Jesus Christ is the King and Lord of this universe. At the same time, when we think of our little corner of the universe, planet Earth, we see and experience suffering, injustice and violence. Even in the midst of those hardships, we know that Christ is present. That is why we celebrate the annual feast of Christ the King. We celebrate our faith that Jesus is Lord and King; and at the same time we commit ourselves to make Jesus more the Lord of our own lives and of our own world.
Lord Jesus Christ, You are the love that gives love, You are higher than the highest star; You are deeper than the deepest sea; You cherish us as Your own family. You rule over u
