The March for Life in Paris (France) is tomorrow January 20th

For 13 years, the annual Paris March for Life (marchpourlavie) has gathered all those who seek to pressure legislators into passing laws in favor of the unborn child. This year the march will take place on January 20th. The political and legislative landscape will unfortunately give more reasons to protest, especially against Senator Laurence Rossignol's recent bill to eliminate conscientious objection for health professionals. This year’s 13th March for Life will therefore focus on the defense of conscientious objection.
Unfortunately, the attacks on life extend far beyond the French and European borders. Thus, like France, many countries, faced with the expansion of their legislation on abortion, are organizing Marches for Life. The year 2018 revealed some battles that still have to be fought: Argentina rejected abortion, while the Irish legalized it (it was still illegal up until this year).
When we look at Mary, we need to meditate on her Yes at the Annunciation, a true Yes to life, despite her fear and questions. How was this going to be done? The angel Gabriel reassured Mary, calmed her heart and obtained her consent by saying: "Do not be afraid!"
