40 Days For Life: DAY 20: They saved 6 babies in 1 day!

It's another saved-baby Monday! Halfway through this 40 Days for Life campaign, we know of …

...212 babies saved from abortion through your prayers!

God saved so many babies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this past Friday that Dan Miller momentarily lost track...

...but when he had a chance to review his notes, Dan reported that 6 babies were saved from abortion in a single day!

The first mom to choose life only stayed inside the abortion facility for three minutes before she left, telling Dan and his team, "This isn't right. I can't do it."

By the end of the day, 5 more lives were spared, bringing Milwaukee's total now to 20 in 20 days! Praise God!

When a friend repeatedly invited Dan to participate in the Cream City's 40 Days for Life vigil a decade ago, Dan replied that he'd rather have all four wisdom teeth pulled at the same time--without any medication.

Dan was so creeped out by the abortion facility that he refused to drive by it going through town.

Finally, he agreed to pray for one hour--but said he would never, ever return to the vigil again. God had other plans.

Since then, Dan has helped save more than 1,500 babies.

How will God use you when you sign up to pray with your local vigil at 40daysforlife.com/location?

York, Pennsylvania

An abortion-minded woman visited Planned Parenthood--accompanied by her boyfriend, who did not want to lose his child to abortion.

When shown a poster displaying the stages of fetal development, the expectant mother burst into tears, visited the pregnancy help center, and chose life!

"Thanks be to God," Tom in York said. "The 40 Days for Life vigilers were so jubilant after this great news!"

Tyler, Texas

Ten vigil participants were praying during the 6 pm hour in Tyler when a young woman left the Planned Parenthood abortion referral center.

As she drove past the vigil participants, she rolled down her window and shouted, "I'm having a baby!" before driving away.

"Hooray!" shouted Ann, the local leader, in response.

Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife because she was barren; and the Lord granted his prayer and Rebekah his wife conceived. The children struggled together within her, and she said, “If it is thus, why do I live?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples, born of you, shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, the elder shall serve the younger.”

— Genesis 25:21-23

O, God, you formed us in our mother’s womb and planned a unique and special life and purpose for each of us, and we do thank you. Grant that we may pray and work for an end to abortion, especially in these 40 days, so that no unborn baby you have made may fail to achieve your divine intention for him or her because of intentional abortion.
