The positive pregnancy test couldn't have come at a worse time.

The mother worried she was too old to bring a child into the world. Finances were tight. And to make matters worse, she feared that prescription medications she had been taking might have already harmed her baby.

Abortion seemed like the solution for this crisis pregnancy.

The anxious mom and her husband said nothing when they visited their chiropractor, who was wearing a "Pray to End Abortion" button...

...but at a follow-up appointment two weeks later, the couple told the chiropractor that his 40 Days for Life button persuaded them to choose life!

"She told me that they decided to keep their baby and trust in God," the doctor texted his local campaign leader. "We both cried tears of joy for prayers being answered."

Thanks be to God, the pregnancy advanced without complications, and the couple welcomed a healthy baby a few weeks ago!

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Ann Arbor's 40 Days for Life team was devastated when one of its faithful volunteers died suddenly and unexpectedly last year. The young mother, Anna, left behind a husband and three daughters.

Sandie and her team paid tribute to her by debuting a new pro-life outreach van named Anna in her honor!

"Our new van is dedicated to the memory of Anna," Sandie said. "A beautiful pro-life mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend who often prayed for an end to abortion outside of our Planned Parenthood."

Donna said her volunteer base continues to grow. One new volunteer was about to have an abortion at just 16 years old, when her mom--a young mother herself--stepped in. "I didn't abort you; why would you abort my grandchild?"

Those words inspired the young woman to choose life.

"She came up to us while we were praying on the sidewalk and poured her heart out," Donna reported. "She wants to give hope to those seeking abortion."

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.

— Psalm 8:3-9

Lord, you are the creator of all things. Guide my thoughts to consider your creation in all of its majesty, beauty and holiness. Guide my heart especially to your creation of precious human life. Help me to comprehend how essential life is in your own heart. Teach me to appreciate, love and protect all human life.
