Our Virtual Adoption
According to the app Sprout, our 5 week old embryo has a heart that is dividing into chambers with tiny cardiac cells that contract. Oxygen and nutrients are delivered via the umbilical cord rather than yolk sac. Pregnancy-related symptoms like nausea and fatigue may begin at this stage, but it's also normal to experience no symptoms yet. This tiny human is about the size of an apple seed.
