Heroic News: “New study confirms abortion/breast cancer link” plus 9 more

heroicnews

Pro-abortion advocates have relentlessly denied a link between abortion and breast cancer, but a new study has emerged from China that seems to show that such a link not only exists, but that the risk rises with each abortion a woman has.
New York's Cardinal Timothy Dolan says the Roman Catholic Church has been "outmarketed" on the issue of gay marriage and has been "caricatured as being anti-gay."
The weekly meetings of Mouthing Off!, a group for students at Mills College in Oakland, Calif., who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, always start the same way. Members take turns going around the room saying their names and the personal pronouns they want others to use when referring to them — she, he or something else.

“I was the only midwife on the day Sedra’s* mother came to MSF’s hospital in Syria,” says Amanda Godballe, a Danish midwife working with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) at one of its projects inside Syria.
The performance by the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical “Kinky Boots” left a lot of viewers scratching their heads, shaking their heads, and wondering what happened to the family friendly tradition.
pphsnakeThe holiday season is upon us. Almost inevitably that means that as Americans turn their attention to family and friends, significant rules, regulations, and reports will be released in the hope that they will go largely unnoticed and generally uncommented upon. If recent history is any indicator, this year’s holiday “data dump” will include the annual report for the nation’s largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood.
My story begins on the other side of the world, in the capitol of post-communist Romania, during a time of poverty in the country. Romania had been under communist rule for 44 years, and at the time I was born, they had only had their freedom from Nicolae Ceau?escu (the dictator) for a little over a year.
This Friday marked the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis, arguably the most influential Christian thinker of the 20th century.
Shenzhen has apparently applied to the Guangdong provincial authorities to pilot such a facility next year. Some social media users have warned that the box will encourage "irresponsible parents" to give away their unwanted children, the People's Daily newspaper says.

Heroic News: “Rise of IVF leaves thousands of unborn babies in jeopardy” plus 2 more

Mother With Multiple Sclerosis Loses Her Health Coverage Due to Obamacare
Please pray for Whitney Johnson. We shared her story on the Sean Hannity show on Friday and have been promoting her story nationwide. Today she sent us an update and prayer request, and she said we could share with you.

She’s a beautiful 26-year-old mother with M.S. and, due to ObamaCare, her health plan was canceled. The problems are getting worse. Please read and pray. This is happening to real Americans.

Poll: Christie Leads Republicans for 2016, Paul Second, Ryan Third
The 2016 presidential election is years away but the frustration with President Barack Obama and his disastrous Obamacare health care scheme has many voters looking ahead to the next presidential election.

CNN released a poll today asking both Democrats and Republicans who they favor for the nominee of their respective parties. Naturally, pro-abortion former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to outperform any other Democrat, while Republicans are more divided. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/cnn-poll-christie-leads-republicans-for-2016-paul-second-ryan-third/
Cancer Patient Who Complained About Losing Insurance Due to Obamacare Faces IRS Audit
A man with cancer who complained about losing his health insurance thanks to Obamacare’s rules and regulations is now facing an IRS audit. Bill Elliot couldn’t afford the expensive premiums of a replacement plan after Obamacare shelved his health insurance and spoke out about it in a Fox News interview.
He was so distraught he thought about paying the Obamacare fine of having no insurance and “letting nature take its course.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/cancer-patient-who-complained-about-losing-insurance-due-to-obamacare-faces-irs-audit/

18 and Out of the Foster Care System, She Finally Gets Adoptive Family
Amanda was almost 18 and about to “age out” of the foster care system. But while our nation’s laws consider someone who’s 18 to be an adult, you and I know there’s still a lot of growing up left to do at that age. Even young adults need a mom and a dad.
For example, Amanda still yearned for a mother’s love to soothe her on the bad days and share the joy with her on the good ones. She wanted a dad to hold her hand and walk her down the aisle. Amanda always dreamed of having somewhere to come home to on the holidays. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/18-and-out-of-the-foster-care-system-she-finally-gets-adoptive-family/

Gabriel Was Such a Joy, Even if He Only Lived for Five Hours
Amy and Andy, a couple from Mahomet, IL, were married with one son, Jackson, when they found out they were expecting their second child. But the excitement turned to anger and sadness at Amy’s 12 week routine ultrasound appointment when she sensed something was wrong. As she told News Channel 15:

The whole time I’m looking at the scan thinking, maybe, his head just doesn’t look right. Maybe it’s blurry. It’s probably nothing. I’m just, ya know, being nervous. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/gabriel-was-such-a-joy-even-if-he-only-lived-for-five-hours/
Abortion Supporter Admits Pictures of Aborted Babies are “Dead Bodies”
My pro-life website has quotes from abortionists and pictures of aborted babies. On the pages with the pictures of aborted babies, I have a brief survey which allows a visitor to answer several questions and leave their own comments. I got a comment this morning that I thought was interesting, and I wanted to share it.
The comment comes from a 37-year-old woman who claims to be an “atheist/agnostic.” She says: “quit with the lies and half truths. the set up of the pics are disgusting. seriously, would it be okay to play with and pose any other kinds of dead bodies? war is horrible but you don’t see people making horrific scenarios with peoples [sic] body parts.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/abortion-supporter-admits-pictures-of-aborted-babies-are-dead-bodies/

City Will Fight the Epidemic of Abandoned Babies With Anonymous Baby Box
A Chinese city has plans to fight the epidemic of abandoned babies caused in part by the one-child policy with an anonymous baby box. The idea behind the box is to protect newborns from infanticide by having parents of so-called unwanted children leave them with someone who will find them a family.

Young Boy With Cancer Loses Health Insurance Thanks to Obamacare
The family of a young boy in Texas has less to be thankful for this Thanksgiving — because their cancer-stricken little boy has lost his health insurance due to Obamacare.
Hunter Alford is described by his parents as a “wild, fun loving, zombie-killing boy who loves the military and police.” However, he was born with a rare form of cancer and lost his health insurance just after Obamacare went into effect, according to a report in WND.

Sadly, Hunter is one of many cancer patients who are losing their health care due to Obmacare’s rules and regulations.

Planned Parenthood President is Thankful for Wendy Davis Defending Late-Term Abortions
The president of the nation’s biggest abortion business has something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day — and it’s not friends, family or blessings from God.

No, Cecile Richards, in emails to supporters today and in a tweet to its members, thanked abortion activists. Specifically, Richards is thankful for Wendy Davis defending late-term abortions in Texas.

Thomas Jefferson’s Thanksgiving and Prayer Proclamation
Today we continue our Words From Our Founders series examining America’s Founding Fathers’ words on religion, religious liberty, and morality.
As Thanksgiving arrives, we are featuring various proclamations of prayer and thanksgiving issued by America’s founders. Below is a proclamation issued by Thomas Jefferson on November 11, 1779, when he was governor of Virginia.

Abortion Activist Compares Pushing Population Control to the 10 Commandments
Population alarmists and abortion groups are already vying for position in the new global development scheme that will replace the millennium development goals.

The UN system is gearing up for the next big thing. The millennium development goals are on their way out and countries must decide on a new set of goals by 2015. The goals will determine how development aid is spent for years to come. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/28/abortion-activist-compares-pushing-population-control-to-the-10-commandments/

Human Embryos With Genetic Diseases Destroyed for Stem Cells for NIH Registry
King’s College in London is proud that they have provided 16 new embryonic stem cell lines to the United States’ National Institutes of Health (NIH) registry of stem cell lines eligible for federal funding. On the King’s College website they explain that they have created these stem cell lines with a variety of genetic disease for US researchers to work on:

Scientists from King’s College London have announced that 16 human embryonic stem (hES) cell lines have been approved by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and placed on their Stem Cell Registry, making them freely available for federally-funded research in the USA. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/28/human-embryos-with-genetic-diseases-destroyed-for-stem-cells-for-nih-registry/
10 Women Who Accomplished Great Things Before the HHS Mandate
After the Supreme Court announced that they will hear a challenge to the HHS Contraception Mandate, the White House put out a statement saying that the mandate is “essential” to a woman’s health.
While the word “essential” is defined as being “a thing that is necessary” – meaning that the White House is literally claiming that women cannot be healthy without mandated contraception coverage, here are 10 women who accomplished great things without the government mandating that their employers pay for contraception. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/28/10-women-who-accomplished-great-things-before-the-hhs-mandate/

President Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 Thanksgiving Proclamation
The year that is drawing toward its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added which are of so extraordinary a nature that they can not fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God.
In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign states to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere, except in the theater of military conflict, while that theater has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/22/president-abraham-lincolns-1863-thanksgiving-proclamation/
