Gallagher, Legislative DirectorPro-life activist Meredith Parente was awakened to the humanity of the preborn child some years ago. She began her advocacy journey with a local pro-life group in West Virginia. Today, Meredith heads something called the Magee Project, which is working through education and prayerful witness to end abortions at the Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.Meredith’s goal is not to shut the hospital down. She notes that some 10,000 babies are born there each year.
