We are hiring an Information Technology Director
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, is searching for a full-time Information Technology (IT) Director.
The position reports directly to the executive director and works
on-site at the Federation’s State Headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.
Applications to work remotely from outside of Harrisburg will not be
considered.
Primary Responsibilities
The IT Director: establishes plans and administers the overall policies
and goals for the use of IT by the Federation; researches and analyzes
the needs of the various functions; and determines ways to meet the
Federation’s mission and plans by modifying existing or developing new
IT systems. In addition, the IT Director: provides highly technical and
responsible IT assistance to all members of the staff of the Federation;
manages and enhances the Federation’s various online platforms,
including email hosting, website management (HTML expertise is
desirable), Donor Perfect Online manipulation (hands-on Query and Donor
Perfect Online expertise is a bonus) and electronic communications; and
oversees IT hardware and software applications and recommends
improvements when warranted.
Qualifications
The IT Director will: ideally have a 4-year degree or certification
program or more in IT or related field; have at least five years of
experience in IT; be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts,
practices, and procedures, including experience in database management. A
wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
