Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Mary's Shelter: Soirée RSVPs Are Now LIVE!
Dear Friends -
The Mary's Shelter VA 15th Annual Soirée and Fundraiser will be held the evening of September 20th.
Our Soirée promises to be a great night with many surprises in
store because, in addition to fantastic speakers, inspirational
videos, and a room full of wonderful friends, we will also be
celebrating our 20th ANNIVERSARY! It
is hard to believe that 20 years ago, before we had a home to offer,
our 501(c), or any idea of what to expect, we received our
first emergency call from a pregnant woman in crisis. Through the
generosity of our community, we were able to shelter her and her
children while she waited on the birth of her baby. From that first leap
of faith is how Mary's Shelter VA began.
At the Soirée, you will hear about our humble beginnings, how far we have come, and our hopes for the future.
