Pennsylvania's House Bill 1957, the Abortion Industry's dream legislation - National Right to Life
It could not have come at a worse time. The week before Christmas, when Christians throughout Pennsylvania celebrate the birth of our Savior, the Democrat-led House of Representatives passed a Constitutional Amendment which would allow abortion up to the moment of birth!
Stop the Abortion Amendment in The Senate!
House Bill 1957 would allow abortion up to the moment of birth. We cannot let that happen in Pennsylvania!
Please send an immediate message to your state Senator and urge him or her to oppose this dangerous pro-abortion Constitutional Amendment. You can send the message by clicking here: Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, Inc. - Advocacy

ASSISTED SUICIDE
New York governor announces she will sign assisted suicide bill into law
The months-long delay had given opponents false hope that New York Governor Kathy Hochul might veto the assisted suicide bill instead. But after a months-long delay, New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that she will sign a bill legalizing assisted suicide in the state.
In an op-ed for the Albany Times-Union, Hochul announced her decision, saying it was heavily informed by personal experience. Stating that she agreed with the idea of using assisted suicide to "speed up the inevitable," Hochul said she will sign the legislation into law.

FACT CHECKED
Serious error in reporting Pennsylvania house vote on proposed abortion-on-demand constitutional amendment
Once again, the media have failed miserably when it comes to reporting on the abortion issue in Pennsylvania.
Numerous news outlets reported this week that a proposed pro-abortion Constitutional Amendment, House Bill 1957, passed on a party line vote.
It did not.
Two Democrats—Representatives Frank Burns and Anita Kulik—bravely voted against the dangerous measure, which would allow abortion up to the moment of birth.
Meanwhile, two Republicans—Joe Hogan and Kathleen Tomlinson—betrayed their constituents and the babies by voting for the radical legislation.

Abortion Grief is Common and Persistent, New Study Underscores National Crisis
New research utilizing a national random survey of American women aged 41 to 45 years found that prolonged grief disorder is common after both induced abortions and natural losses.
The research investigated the degrees of grief and complicated grief attributed to natural and induced pregnancy losses, based on 1,925 surveys collected from a topic-blind panel. Of these, 409 respondents (21.2%) reported a history of induced abortion and 573 (29.8%) had a history of miscarriage or other natural losses. These rates are close to national averages, indicating a representative sample.
