During the mid 1990s, while visiting the monastery at EWTN, Mother Angelica, foundress of EWTN, asked Jim and Joanne Wright to return home to Buffalo, New York, and start a Catholic radio apostolate. Neither Jim nor Joanne had any radio or media experience but, after prayerful discernment, they started The Station of the Cross with the goal of bringing Catholic radio to Western New York.

Five Texas abortionists face hearings after investigation reveals violations

Five abortionists will be required to appear for hearings before the Texas Medical Board (TMB) regarding multiple violations uncovered at their clinics, health officials told Operation Rescue last week. The abortionists are scheduled for Informational Settlement Conferences on October 28, 2011, where they must answer to allegations that the Board has brought against them.
