Planned Parenthood lauds UNFPA's contraception as a human right declaration funding cuts
Rita Diller / Wednesday STOPP Report
Reading a recent blurb in the Minnesota Planned Parenthood Advocate, one can see clearly that Planned Parenthood is writing the core of the playbook for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). "For the first time, the U.N. Population Fund's annual report, released November 14, explicitly declares family planning, including access to contraception, a universal human right," Planned Parenthood reports. The abortion giant then quotes the UNFPA mission that eerily mirrors Planned Parenthood's "every child a wanted child" mission: "In keeping with the UNFPA's mission to create 'a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled,' this report examines both the financial and social repercussions of decreased access to contraception." The UNFPA 2011 annual report, released this month, opens with fear-mongering tactics, sounding a false alarm that our world population of seven billion puts us in a perilous position.

British teen suffers 7 heart attacks, hundreds of blood clots after one month on the pill
LifeSiteNews
The Daily Mail has reported that a British teenager suffered seven heart attacks after the popular contraceptive pill Microgynon caused her to develop hundreds of blood clots. A CT scan revealed hundreds of blood clots had formed in Alyce's leg, then traveled to her heart and lungs. Emergency injections of an anti-coagulatory drug and two days in intensive care saved her life, but she was told she would have to bring her promising career as a show jumper to a premature end. It took three years of testing by a specialist at University College London to confirm that Alyce's near-fatal experience was caused by her contraceptive pills.

Legal victory against Obamacare 'mandate'
World Net Daily
A federal appeals court has agreed with three U.S. district judges and blocked the enforcement of the Obamacare "mandate" that would have forced a Missouri company to pay for health insurance including abortifacients in violation of the religious beliefs of the owners. The order from a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is the first from the appellate level among the dozens of cases challenging the Obamacare mandate. According to officials with the American Center for Law and Justice, the order puts on hold the White House-promoted requirement in the case involving Frank R. O'Brien and O'Brien Industrial Holdings, a St. Louis, Mo., company that runs a number of businesses that explore, mine and process refractory and ceramic raw materials.
