We made it! As of this morning, we have received reports of 266 babies saved from abortion through 40 Days for Life campaigns since February 14.

As results continue to come in, save the date for our April 16 campaign wrap-up webcast, when we'll share the final numbers...and BIG developments coming in the near future!

In Boston, a mother lay on the operating table, about to undergo a gruesome late-term abortion procedure, when she heard the rhythmic sound of her child's heart beating.

"Stop!" she begged the abortionist.

A few minutes later and it would have been too late. Instead, the still-pregnant mom left Planned Parenthood and told 40 Days for Life volunteer Carlos that she changed her mind.

Carlos had been holding a photo of a baby spared from abortion during a 2023 40 Days for Life campaign in Boston, and the mom said the image influenced her decision to get off the operating table.

Rita said the photo has been a game-changer in a city where it's difficult to engage abortion-minded women.

"It is nearly impossible to get anyone to speak with you. They have clearly been told to avoid speaking to anyone standing outside. Hearts are very hard in Boston."

But with help from their delivery-room photo, Rita and her team have saved SIX babies from abortion this Lent!

Anchorage, Alaska

A tearful woman told prayer warriors that she was looking for a sign to indicate whether she should go through with an abortion.

That's when she met 40 Days for Life volunteers who talked with her, shared the harm abortion causes women, and offered to accompany her to the local pregnancy center.

The woman agreed to go to the pregnancy center--but she didn't want the vigil participants to join her.

Why not?

Because she didn't want to take them away from the sidewalk where they could help other women like her!

"She expressed deep gratitude to the volunteers for being there that day," shared Mary, the local campaign leader. "She said they were her sign. May God be praised!"

Glendale, Arizona

A young woman arrived at Planned Parenthood and approached 40 Days for Life volunteers to ask for prayer.

"She was pregnant with her third child and didn't know how she would manage," said Lynn, the campaign leader. "She was seriously contemplating abortion."

The expectant mother prayed with 40 Days for Life volunteers, received free resources, and chose life!

The very next week, a woman leaving the abortion facility told sidewalk counselors, "We changed our minds. We're going to keep the baby!"

Glasgow, Scotland

Parents driving to the hospital in Glasgow saw vigil participants holding a sign that said "Pregnant? We can help you," and immediately decided to keep their baby.

"All heaven rejoices!" wrote the local team. "This goes to show you how life is held in a precarious balance."

On this rock I will build my church; the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

--Matthew 16:18

Father, we have done battle with the power of evil, and therefore we can have compassion on those still within its grip. We have been freed from the kingdom of darkness, and therefore we can bear witness to your kingdom of light. May the witness of all your people through these 40 Days for Life bear abundant fruit.
