The sound of an unborn baby’s heartbeat
can definitely turn a parent’s own heart
in the direction of life

We talk early and often about the remarkable power of visuals to promote life. For instance, it is hard to argue against the humanity of a preborn child when you see the baby’s ultrasound image on social media. In addition, still photos of an unborn child at various stages of development, such as those included in National Right to Life’s Diary of an Unborn Child at www.nrlc.org/abortion/diaryofanunbornchild , are eye-openers. Legislative Update
“Heartbeat” legislation has been reintroduced in Pennsylvania. House Bill 904 and Senate Bill 378 would prevent abortions when a baby’s heartbeat is detected. The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation supports these bills.

Bedford County Citizens Concerned for Human Life will hold their 17th Annual Pro-Life Dinner on April 23, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Clear Ridge Independent Fellowship Church. Maria Gallagher, Legislative and Political Action Committee Director at the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, will be the featured speaker. Her talk “When Roe Goes - Life After Roe v. Wade” will tell the history of Roe, how we can prepare Pennsylvania for an overturn of Roe, and what life after Roe will mean in Pennsylvania and beyond.
