To compete to save lives in NY takes extra money now!

 

Dear Friends , As a Catholic I can’t help but feel that these are strange times.   In all my years opposing abortion, I’d never thought I’d see an actual abortion terrorist group like Jane’s Revenge. Nor did I think we’d see millions of New York state taxpayers’ dollars funding abortions for out-of-state women!   Strange days, indeed. Our recent days became even stranger this week with the news that New York City’s emergency shelters for the homeless have been overrun by migrants from south of the border. Add to that the influx of out-of-state women seeking abortions here and you can see that it’s a mess.   Biden’s dithering with the border has erupted in a migration crisis that is now hitting New York. It’s become so bad that NYC’s Department of Social Services sent out an urgent email—leaked here—to all staff begging them to work overtime to handle this influx of over 4,000 people—including families—hitting New York City’s streets with nowhere to go. Thanks, Joe.   Meanwhile, thanks also to NY governor Kathy Hochul for pouring fire on the flames by giving millions to abortion clinics and funding the recruitment of out-of-state women. She just announced another $15 million on top of the $10 million she already gave to 63 clinics across the state to do more hiring and expand operations—and perform more abortions! This is a crisis, folks. As you know, early this summer I directed an immediate summer expansion of all EMC Frontline’s services at our three NYC locations—doubling our staffing complement, including nurses, so that we could meet demand.   Now we need to hire a new Spanish speaking counselor to deal with the influx of Spanish speaking clients who are calling us from NYC shelters and rooming houses, seeking abortions or pregnancy help. There are two ways you can help us with our $20,000 summer expansion campaign:   1. Become a valued monthly donor today and save babies’ lives every day, all year long.   We need to keep intercepting women who go to Planned Parenthood for abortions—the very building our downtown Brooklyn location is in.
