Chinese Woman Seven Months Pregnant Beaten, Forcibly Aborted
A human rights group has learned that a woman was forcibly aborted at seven months of pregnancy on June 3 in Shanxi Province, China.

Women s Rights Without Frontiers informed LifeNews that a new report from the China-based human rights organization 64Tianwang indicates the woman, Feng Jianmei, was beaten and dragged into a vehicle by a group of family planning officials while her husband, Deng Jiyuan, was out working. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/chinese-woman-seven-months-pregnant-becomes-victim-of-forced-abortion/

House Stops Obama Admin From Funding Illegal Immigrants Abortion
Last week, the House of Representatives voted to stop the Obama administration from arranging abortions at taxpayer expense for illegal immigrants who are detained by customs officials.

As LifeNews has reported, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the division of the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing the nation s immigration laws, is the agency that is paying for some abortions at taxpayer expense and arranging for the abortions for the illegal immigrants. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/house-stops-obama-admin-from-funding-illegal-immigrants-abortions/

Networks Ignore Hundreds of Pro-Life Religious Freedom Rallies
ABC, CBS, and NBC stayed true to their liberal slant and ignored the 164 rallies across the United States on Friday against the federal government s abortifacient/birth control mandate under ObamaCare. Religious leaders and conservative politicians, like former GOP presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann, addressed the tens of thousands of pro-religious freedom activists who attended the rallies. But the Big Three apparently didn t think this was worthy of coverage on their morning and evening newscasts.

By contrast, CBS played up the supporters of a group of left-leaning Catholic nuns during four on-air segments between May 30 and June 1, 2012. Correspondent Wyatt Andrews hyped how hundreds of Catholics have rallied behind the sisters, and that protests in support of the nuns have been held in almost 50 cities. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/networks-ignore-hundreds-of-pro-life-religious-freedom-rallies/

Thousands Welcome Abby Johnson Ministry to Reach Abortion Workers
More than 6,000 pro-life advocates turned out to hear Abby Johnson and leaders of her new ministry, And Then There Were None which is dedicated to helping abortion clinic workers leave the industry so Planned Parenthood and abortion facilities have no one left to employ.

Johnson launched the new ministry in a webcast Monday night that more than 6,500 pro-life advocates listened to online. During the event, Johnson said she hoped to reach the nearly 10,000 people estimated to be working at abortion businesses across the country and to provide them with the emotional, financial and spiritual support necessary to leave their jobs and seek new lives outside of the industry. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/thousands-welcome-abby-johnson-ministry-to-reach-abortion-workers/

New Campaign Will Motivate Pro-Life Women to Vote in November
Concerned Women for America president Penny Nance announced today the launch of She Votes 2012, a million-dollar nationwide campaign to get out the vote in the November general election. Nance said the goal is to raise awareness and activism of women in key states, resulting in stronger conservative leadership on the state and national level.

We know that when conservatives vote their values, they elect men and women whom CWA and CWA members can work with to see that founding principles are applied and enacted into law, Nance said. We need conservatives to turn out in great numbers in order to get legislation passed that will move our great country back to a secure footing. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/new-campaign-will-motivate-pro-life-women-to-vote-in-november/

Obama s Record: No to Conscience, Yes to Sex-Selection Abortions
As a nation, we are much like a train without a conductor, flying down the tracks in a scenic countryside. Because the ride was smooth at the start and the view out the windows was pleasant, we ignored the fact we ve been chugging along toward an uncertain destination. But now, with night upon us, we have entered a tunnel wherefrom we see a light ahead of us. Yet there is growing concern that the light is not the end of the tunnel, but another train barreling down on us.

This was evidenced by the recent tight spot in which the Obama administration found itself. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/obamas-record-no-to-conscience-yes-to-sex-selection-abortions/

NBC: It s Pro-Science to Abort Children With Genetic Defects
On Friday s NBC Today, chief medical editor Nancy Snyderman explained to viewers that it s just good science to abort an unborn child that may have a genetic disorder, explaining that testing for such conditions, gives parents a chance to decide whether they re going to continue that pregnancy or not. This is the science of today. . http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/nbc-its-pro-science-to-abort-children-with-genetic-defects/

Supreme Court Overturning Obamacare Would be Big Pro-Life Win
Within the next two weeks, the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to decide the fate of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), President Obama s controversial healthcare law. One of three outcomes is likely: (a) the Court will uphold the entire law; (b) the Court will strike down the entire law, holding that certain provisions are unconstitutional; or (c) the Court will strike down one or more provisions of the law as unconstitutional such as the requirement that most Americans obtain insurance and related provisions while permitting the rest of the law to stand. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/supreme-court-overturning-obamacare-would-be-big-pro-life-win/

Stories From the Abortion Clinic: Tales of Sidewalk Counseling
Most of the time you sidewalk counsel, patients ignore you both entering and leaving the clinic. Other times, they do react to you but not always in the way you hope. You encounter all different kinds of people and situations outside the abortion clinics, and this weekend proved just that. Some weekends are just harder than others. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/10/stories-from-the-abortion-clinic-tales-of-sidewalk-counseling/

Pro-Life Issues Are Winning Ones for Republicans in November
How big of an impact will abortion have in the November elections? Conventional wisdom holds that so-called social issues like the right to life are good for throwing a little red meat to the base now and then but are too divisive to be allowed to distract from real issues like the economy. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/11/pro-life-issues-are-winning-ones-for-republicans-in-november/

Michigan House to Vote on 20-Week Abortion Ban, Pro-Life Bills
The Michigan state House will soon vote on Prolife Bus, an omnibus bill that contains several pro-life measures including a ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy because science shows unborn children have the capacity to feel pain. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/06/12/michigan-house-to-vote-on-20-week-abortion-ban-pro-life-bills/
